Vogel suggested that Phil Handy has been a major reason for our success, I highly doubt they let him walk, the players love Handy.

And he's close with Bron from the Cleveland years so I hope LeBron has major influence in him staying.

Only a matter of time until Coach Handy becomes a head coach.. Has all the qualities and temperament of a head coach. His on court training speaks for itself but his disciple in holding people accountable is 2nd to none... Lucky to have him with the Lakers

One of the things i've been hoping for is exactly this and considering Lebron is in the later stages of his career hopefully Handy sticks around at least a few more years with us. I love how much the players and head coach give him credit for everything most casual fans would never know about otherwise. That's the kind of things that make you feel wanted and hopefully not want to leave.

Mike D’Antoni and Phil Handy are both potential candidates to join Steve Nash’s coaching staff in Brooklyn, according to a source.

Handy to the Nets rumours popping up again

Geez, I hope he stays

I wouldn't blame PH for doing whatever makes the most $ense. But I'm not sure joining the Brooklyn "We don't really need a head coach" Nets is a great way to go. Maybe if you think you're in an upward vacuum situation (a la Lue CLE/LAC, Gentry SAC, Nurse TOR). But they just hired Nash to a 4-year deal.

You're probably better off on the Lakers at least another year.

Can't lose impactful staff like Handy. We got a championship team so if we do, it's only because the ownership went cheap. You don't want to give the likes of AD the impression that we can't afford to keep the best coaching staff in a league with billionaire owners at Clippers and Brooklyn. We wasted millions on Deng, Mozgov etc so it'd be dumb to be cheap when we finally have a championship team too.

Lakers legacy got us LeBron, but we can't oblivious to the fact that big market teams with super rich owners at Clippers and Nets (neither has championship history) got superstars because they are willing to spend. Buss kids don't have that kind of billionaire money, but Lakers make huge profits even when we were bad on the court due to the fanbase it created through winning so much in modern era. So do the best to keep winning when we have 2 superstars by keeping important coaches to get the best out of the roster too.

It's pretty much confirmed now that he's wants to run it back.

I'm excited to see what he can do with our young guys, especially THT

Nets thinking they can get Phil Handy is hilarious, he’s gonna be apart of our team for a long time, he’s gonna groom a lot of the Laker players and make sure we bring #18 next year.
