Nets thinking they can get Phil Handy is hilarious, he’s gonna be apart of our team for a long time, he’s gonna groom a lot of the Laker players and make sure we bring #18 next year.

whoever goes to Nets' coaching staff is committing career suicide. Kyrie and KD are already undermining the importance of the head coach. good luck Nash.

Yeah, BKN reeks so much Clippers vibes. Basically Diva City there whereas w/out the star duo they were a blue collar overachieving squad. Don't see them as better than a 4th seed next season and Nash will certainly be on the hot seat given the team's lofty expectations.

If I was in Phil Handy's shoes. Perfect weather. Working with the best pros. Best organization. Great amenities. Doing what I love.

Easy decision!

Mike D’Antoni and Phil Handy are both potential candidates to join Steve Nash’s coaching staff in Brooklyn, according to a source.

Having Phil Handy, Frank Vogel and Rajon Rondo was huge for our team this season.

Their attention to detail is beyond amazing. Little things like after the third dribble Harden will step back and shoot, Dame likes to pull up going to his left from anywhere on the court, or Giannis’ over usage of the eurostep so to front him a little earlier.

Basketball IQ off the charts.

Dude is great and wherever he goes, sets a precedent for good culture in the locker room.

Was scared the nets or clips would steal him.

What are they offering Handy? Assistant Not Really The Coach?

Hey, where you'd find that info? I was paying close attention to Rondo picking Harden twice and marveled at how he timed those steals perfectly.

Duds talked about it in his interview on Bill Simmons' podcast.

Hoping he's just getting some interview experience and isn't leaving any time soon.

Huge blow if Handy leaves. I know Fizdale is insurance if Handy leaves but Handy is just one of those coaches you hate to lose.

Saw an interesting idea that if the wizards do hire Handy, the Lakers should take Cassell from the Sixers if he’s interested. I think he also interviewed for a couple of jobs including the Wizards.
