What happens when the defense forces him left?

So .... Maledon.... Jones....Mannion.....Winston .... or Simpson filling in for Schroder for four games due to a sprained ankle ?

I don't think he is 6' he looks closer to 5'9" - 5'10", which reminds me visually of Isaiah Thomas. He has great hands for steals, very strong and quick.

This sounds like a training camp invite. Best of luck to him.

From Detroit News:

Quote:
According to Simpson’s agent Brian Jungreis, the point guard has interviewed with 13 teams: Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz
Lakers are not listed????
Quote:
Teske shot 27.1% and Simpson 31.4% from deep in their college careers, though Simpson shot a career-best 36% last season and had a strong showing at the NBA G League Elite Camp Combine (shot 80% on 3-point star drill and 74% on spot-up 3s).

As someone who watched a bunch of Michigan basketball, it was frustrating how this guard was such a bad free throw shooter. Not much from deep either. He is short, which can be problematic in this league. If he could shoot that would be one thing, but in this league I don't think he has what it takes. Hard worker, maybe he will make a fine coach some day.

It sucks to say because I like these kinds of stories, longshot players, dedicated, and all that. But he would be an offensive liability when he is on the floor. Players will sag off him, and he will meet a lot more height and length when he drives to the basket.

Still wishing him the best, and am glad he signed with the Lakers. I am happy for him.

Captain Hook!

If he doesn't make it, there's always a spot with the South Bay Lakers.

I didn't watch that closely, but that video posted earlier sure shows he doesn't

Did anyone sign Kaleb Wesson from Ohio State? I would think a big body that can hit the 3 would be worth a look.
