I just hope we don't trade McGee for nothing before we get Gasol. I am from Puerto Rico, and here it is called

"Hacerte La Camita" and "Cojerte de Pendejo" .

You can just use Google Translate.

Going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Because I’m not seeing it.

Gasol as a situational player, no problem. Gasol as the starter and relying on him playing consistent significant mpg, I don’t see.

McGee has a valuable role for this team with his athleticism and ability to run the floor. Will be interesting to see him moved for cap space and how they fill the center position when he is gone.

Apparently I’m still playing checkers on this potential move.

Its like this, Mcgee/Howard for Marc/Harrel.

Marc replaces Mcgee who didnt see any minutes in the playoffs. He was just there during the regular season so AD didnt have to play the center position till closing of 4th quarters. Same for Dwight but unlike Mcgee he actually did something vs Jokic in the playoffs when it counts(even as games went on, Dwight wasnt as effective).

Harrel possibly getting most of the center minutes and AD finishing during the regular season. Marc is there mainly to handle elite bigs in the playoffs.

I agree. I think he starts the season on the roster. It's still unclear whether he'll get an extension or not.

I’ve been high on keeping Kuzmafor his final year contract, but would be in favor of Javale/Kuzma for DSJ.

Too bad on missing out on Ibaka.

Gasol would be better than Dwight on spreading the floor, but not for pnr, alley oops, rebounding, blocks, defense, and Jokic.

I’m so glad Kupchak is no longer with the Lakers. Hornets continue with bad drafting and free agent signings.

That was exactly the PROBLEM with Dwight. He clogged the lane for AD.

We need the paint wide open for LeBron Schroder and Davis.

Gasol will camp outside snipping and getting back on defense since he is already at the 3pt line...

Put down the pipe. I live in NY and there’s no way they’re trading him to us.

I live in NY as well and no move, that the Knicks would make, would surprise me.

Since rose they haven’t made a desperate move.

I don’t like it fellas - we had elite rim protection throughout the game between AD, Dwight, McGee and all were athletic lob threats / rim runners

It worked great, and we could size up against any opponent

Now we are giving up parts for nothing and turning over the entire front line

Guys, if we're trading McGee it's so we can clear enough money to pay Kief not Mark Gasol. Because for some reason the Clippers want to sign him just to keep him from us, because Kief ain't seeing much time behind his brother and Serge.

After that we'd pick up a big body or two on the min.

And who said anything about Kuzma?

I mean the Hornets just saved them from themselves, plus they should have been all in on Bogdanovich instead of KCP.

McGee was never that great of a rim protector, though he does make a few spectacular blocks here and there. Gives up a boatload of points though

Are u imagining 5 players on the 3 pt line with no one in the key for rebounds?

I agree regarding ring protection....we have nothing with Dwight and McGee gone...people keep talking about spreading the floor....we’re talking about defense. That’s where Dwight and AD dominated when together. No one could finish at the rim. Trez and Gasol will never do it. If McGee for Gasol goes down....Whiteside would be a good signing. 15 and 13 last year almost 3 blocks. Whiteside and Gasol can split 30 minutes...the rest to Trez along with playing PF

Chill everyone....

1) Move on from Dwight, he is gone already; get over it

2) Kuzma isn't going anywhere right now and certainly not as a sweetner to unload McGee

3) Mitch Robinson isn't coming over

4) Gasol brings an added wrinkle to this team with his floor spacing and he is BETTER than McGee on D

5) We can still get another big body for the minimum if need be

6) Trust in Pelinka, so far we won a championship with his moves- just got two near 20-pt scorers to take the pressure off our two stars (that can't be said enough on this board) and he is still looking to make us better
