With Harrell, I don’t see why Morris thinks he will get minutes. Or money. Think he is gone. Maybe Clips sign him, using some of their MLE.

We could still use Morris. We need another shooting bigman. I don't think Kuz can take his minutes. They're not the same type of player.

We can not keep him, unless it's a vet min, which he is not taking.

BAE used on Wesley.
MLE used on Trez.

Only vet min left for Kieff. Would love to have him back at the vet min, but I can not see why he takes that.

his playoff contributions earned him to steal minutes from McGee and Kuzma. Plus both of those players can easily get traded sometime this season

McGee and Kuzma may already be on the trading block.

Morris will look to join a team that can get him some PT and also some recognition for a big contract, IMO. Playing a limited role as a vet min, gets you more vet mins. Rondo and guys like that get paid because their role was not limited. If Morris believes he will get a lot of minutes he may stay, but I think he will go for money or a place where he thinks he can get PT to get a bigger contract in a year. These guys have a limited window to earn, and he already has a ring. Morris is a backup 5/4 for us, but so is Harrell. I think he may sometimes get PT over Trez, but most of the time he won't. He certainly won't get PT over AD, and Morris is not a regular season starting 5. I think his best option is to get paid or find a place that allows him to get paid in a year from now. We only have vet mins to offer.

I’d love to have him back for vet min, but I would understand if he wants to earn more elsewhere

I honestly would prioritize Markieff over most of the remaining FAs I'm seeing at this point. The dude's shooting made him very useful, he can play against almost any team, and in the 4th quarter too.

I believe Ibaka took the full MLE.

Don't Clippers have their BAE? I think that was budgeted toward Rondo.

So Clippers want to steal him with their BAE, if Kieff wants more money and can’t get it from Lakers can another CA team like Golden State pay him?

At least not the Warriors. Don't know about the Kings.

Money is money, but Kief could go for another ring at 1 year minimum with assurances from Rob to take care of him next year.

Stein tweeted that Toronto is interested in Markieff per "league sources". What are their options to take him away from us?

The Toronto Raptor will initially have their base in Tampa and later move
to Toronto. Maybe I'm to old for that crap but it sounds complicated. Of course, if the money is good, players adjust...me?, I'd stay with the Lakers...

Markieff is not moving far from his brother. In my opinion, it is between Clippers and the Lakers. I don't know though, I'm just assuming.

I believe they still have their mle. And if Gasol leaves they would be about 9 million under the cap.

Toronto will gun for him as an Ibaka replacement

Toronto knows they can’t trot out a dumpster fire team if they want to attract Giannis

Gonna come down to money
