Thank you Javale! Best of luck with the rest of your career. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Great locker room guy and good rim protector. Good luck in the future, Javale. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Javale and Duds brought a lot of intangibles to the table. Great locker room guys. They'll be missed (unless Duds magically stays in the league lol). _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I liked Javale. Good teammate, hard worker. I feel bad that he's off to Cleveland but the Lakers have to be ruthless when it comes to improving the team, and Marc Gasol adds several dimensions that were not part of Javale McGee's game. But thanks Javale -- you'll always have your ring -- and you were part of getting that championship to LA. Stay healthy!
He has always been underappreciated. Ran the floor and protected the rim well. Underrated touch around the basket too. He's another one of those guys who's game would be appreciated more in a different era.
I knew he could score some when he was on the Wiz/Nuggets, but he had a much better touch around the rim than I expected. Although he has been a journeyman, he probably could've put up better numbers under different circumstances, and perhaps even have a Roy Hibbert-ish prime. He had the touch and the athleticism to do so. His asthma played a big role in that not happening as well.
He was great to have. Not so much as a player but as a person and teammate for sure. I can wish him only good luck. He was a class guy and true Laker. Enjoy.

I was hoping he would be kept around, not so much for what he brings on the court, although he certainly had his moments when he impacted the game, but he was a team guy who seemed to enjoy wearing the P & G. _________________ Not a legend
I hope the CAVS cut you and we can resign you! _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
He looked fine before the bubble. Then when the bubble started he looked like he aged 5 years. What happened?
His game lacks consistency and it did fall off during the regular season last year. His role almost fell to the level of his usage inGolden State. With all that it was a pleasure to see he and Dwight sharing the role and being great team mates.
