We can pay him back by getting him a second ring. He's only a role player and this is a business, not a charity. |

Brad Turner: AD recruited Kieff very aggressively, and big reason he’s back on min$ @SpectrumSN

Laker Nation got love for Kieff. Help get us ring #17 and sacrificed salary to run it back. Loyalty will be rewarded. |

Glad to have him back. I think Lakers will pay him using early bird rights next season if he's productive again. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

I still can't believe there's a 14mil difference in between what Marcus and Markieff are being played
Sure, Markieff is the less dynamic offensive player, but he also isn't a sh*t stirrer like his brother. Willing to accept his role as an important piece off the bench, too. Much better fit for what the Lakers need
Very glad he's a Laker again _________________ #18 next... |

Yeah, we didn't observe any issues with Kieff last year but Marcus did very nasty things to Luka. He also hit Justin Anderson as well when he was with the Knicks |

Kieff is such an underrated signing. This was the guy that was closing against the Clippers and some of our other tough competitors. Key minutes to space the floor and provide mobility on D to finish team off for what we got him for? Hard to believe we pulled that off. Credit to him, Rob and AD for getting it done. |

Credit also to Steve Ballmer and Lawrence Frank for subsidizing his stay with us this season. |

Kieff is good because of what the Clipps are paying his brother, haha. It's an unintended assist by Ballz. Yes, it's ill-advised even for twins to have joint bank accounts, but that helps the Lakers out, too. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

Let's see: 64/4 = 16
16 + 2.3 = 18.3
18.3/2 = 9.15
Thanks Balmer! _________________ The great Laker Center Tradition continues.....Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Gasol, AD....Gasol. |

You are correct about underrated. In fact, other than resigning AD (yes, it will happen) I think it might be the most important thing they did. Not that he is the best at any one thing or that he is better than Harrell or Schroeder, but I think he is a perfect fit and makes this team much tougher. We probably don't get the title without him.
And Rob, now there's the dude that is underrated. |

Kieff, Montrez and Schroder give us a nice level of toughness and chippiness. Laker teams in the past never had a group of guys really wanting to mix it up.
Outside of Artest, who did we have in the past? Kurt Rambis? Coop? |

It's a quality that the FO has stressed. I would also add Matthews & Caruso to that group. They're not faking toughness, they are tough! One of our posters made the valid statement that D is what makes us special.
We've added to our overall defense in a way that we will be different from last year, but I believe better because of the depth of defensive-minded players. It runs from the top (Davis) to the bottom (THT). |

its just nice the last 2 years we have had legit enforcers, cousins early on included. Now we have ateam with a few tough guys that can actually play. Not as pretty as ricky but similar role. |

So...shoving, walking, and continuing to trash talk is worth $25,000 more than shoving and then clubbing another player in the head in the NBA?

Do Flagrant 1's count towards the 2 tech maximum? Why were both ejected with F1's and 1 tech? Ref's choice? |
