Why no one is talking about KCP? lol

He played good today 16 pts, 5 rebs, 3 asts, 3 stls and 2/3 from 3s.
I think he will be consistent contributer from here on, specially after a confidence boosting championship last season.

It's now just expectation for KCP. He's now a seasoned veteran.

KCP was huge in the playoffs in the bubble, showed tons of heart and great player and got nasty vs. Robinson/Herro in the finals and led by example. He is a card member, validated.

It's fun to get excited over the new blood, but it's also great to have that nice confident feeling every time KCP has the ball. That early hump he got over last year seems like ancient history now. Such a talented, smart player.

Also I like the way that he can match up with PG13 right now though he's smaller. Like when he guarding him, you know that PG will have a hard time scoring against him.

Yea I think KCP settled into his role nicely and reached his potential. Now he just needs to play at the level we all saw last season.

I absolutely love that his play on both ends have clearly followed him from his career best play in the bubble to this pre-season so far.

He's def. been a bit of an after thought and probably will be for a lot of other teams considering how loaded we are this year and I hope he makes each and every one of them pay for it.

He has that same confidence and calm about him and I think after his play throughout the bubble and winning a Championship to finally getting that multiyear commitment deal he's feeling like a legit respected veteran for the first time in his career. Hopefully he's somewhat consistent all season long and that will make us that much more deadly.

Yep. KCP looked solid last night. He seems poised for another great season.

I see KCP being the clutch role player on this team, much like Fish and Horry were. He is also our starting 2, he's earned it.

Lakers giving him a commitment extension has installed swag into his game, he was playing with a lot of confidence last night, winning a championship has also made him more poised.

I'm a huge fan of KCP and thought he looked great in the pre-season so far. However, it seems he is still getting himself physically ready for the next run:

Quote:
I feel great. My body isn’t where it needs to be, but I’m getting there. Because of the short turnaround that we did have, I’m trying to get my body there and just being professional about that. But I feel great. My confidence is through the roof.

Hopefully that doesn't mean he is dealing with nagging injuries.

Just saw that he is shooting 53% from 3, granted it’s a small sample size but still incredible.

Right?! He's so key, glad to hear it's not apparently a bad injury.

KCP has been balling. Hope they give him a few games off though, for precaution even if he says he wants to play.

Glad it wasn't serious. He's been an awesome 3 and D guy for us since the bubble. What Danny Green should have been.
