QUESTIONABLE GANG GANG
In LeBron and AD‘s case it probably means they’re playing. Not really sure what that means in the context of KCP hopefully we get a better confirmation later.
Per Faigen
LeBron, AD and KCP are all questionable again tonight (just like last night)

AD AND KCP OUT
Welp
Per McTen
Anthony Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are both out for the Lakers tonight, the team says. Right adductor strain for AD, left ankle sprain for KCP

CORONA WATCH - TOO MUCH TO COVER
Every other post that Shams made was about XYZ team going into quarantine. The big one of the day was Seth Curry testing straight up positive which caused a huge chunk of the 76ers including Embiid to have to go in the quarantine protocol. It’s gonna be a messy season. For the latest you can always check out
@ShamsCharania on Twitter.
(Literally AS I was typing this Jonas Valenciunas went into Health and Safety protocol although not due to a positive test) |

SUBSTITUTIONS AND HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Per Goon
Wesley Matthews is in for KCP and Markieff Morris is in for Anthony Davis. Kyle Kuzma is coming off the bench.
Frank Vogel said the starting lineup would be matchup-based tonight, a little interesting that Kuzma didn't get the nod for AD, but perhaps helps the bench scoring.
https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1347734404106342401?s=21
Patrick Williams, Otto Porter, Wendell Carter, Zach LaVine and Coby White are the Bulls starters. Bulls are out a couple guys due to health and safety protocols, including Lauri Markkanen.

COVID WATCH - ITS GETTING SERIOUS
Per Woj
ESPN Sources: While the Celtics-Heat game has been postponed tonight, the NBA has no plans to pause the season despite thinning rosters because of COVID-19 protocols in several places.

Just a quick note on this. The past 4 opponents the Wizards have played had multiple players need to quarantine. |

Oh there’s WAY more. It’s BANANAS right now. I posted a few things above that I actually had to stop doing a corona watch because it’s literally like every other post now. The only reason I posted this one is a game has been straight out postponed, and it’s the first time they’ve even made mention of having to postpone the season again. So now I’m only going I can’t even do team by team anymore I’m just gonna post something directly affects the Lakers or if it looks like a shut down might happen. |

Lol I hear you. Not going to derail your injury thread...I see this going on just like baseball. Too much money involved to cancel the season. Games will be postponed/cancelled and either they get made up or not. |

PRELIM INJURY REPORT FOR 1/12 GAME
So of course after I make my last post they put out an injury report LOL
Per Goon
The Lakers' injury report still list Wesley Matthews (right Achilles soreness) and Jared Dudley (right calf soreness) as OUT with Kostas Antetokounmpo joining them (right knee tendinitis).
LeBron and AD remain QUESTIONABLE (LeBron hasn't missed a game yet). KCP is PROBABLE.

KIEFF FINED BUT APPARENTLY NOT SUSPENDED
Looking like Markieff will not be on the absentee list tonight.
Per Goon
You might have heard but let me say it also: The NBA announced Markieff Morris was fined $35,000 after his spat with DeMarcus Cousins on Sunday. Cousins was fined $10,000.

COVID WATCH - MORE PROTOCOL UPDATES
I have thoughts but I’m not going to up-end and derail my own thread. If you have thoughts let’s keep it to the existing COVID thread for discussion.
Per Woj
More changes to protocol, sources tell ESPN: At home, players and team staff must remain at residence except to attend team-related activities at facility orarena, exercise outside, perform essential activities or the occurrence of extraordinary circumstances.
https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1349077338647093248?s=21
On road, players and staff can’t leave hotel -- except for team activities or emergencies, sources tell ESPN. No more list of approved restaurants.
https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1349077701940940803?s=21
For minimum of next two weeks, pre-game meetings in locker rooms are limited to 10 minutes -- with masks on, sources tell ESPN. All other meetings with players and team staff must be on the court, or a larger space that allows for 6-feet of social distancing.
