His shooting looks to have come back down to earth. Still very clever getting to the rim, but those step backs and perimeter shots aren’t dropping consistently anymore like they were in preseason and in the first couple of games. |

He had a great first half tonight. Glad to see him get some minutes in the second half with the starters. He wasn't nearly as effective in the second half but those minutes are valuable. |

THT defensively I know he eventually will get there but right now, he's so inconsistent on that end, for every basket he scored during his mini 2nd quarter run, his man would score on the other end as well. Once he improves that part of his game, which he will just like Kuz has, then he'll be one heck of a player. _________________ Tacos |

I do wonder who the front office thinks more highly of, Kuz or THT |

Yup. On ball skills are premium. Mix in 2-way potential and those are hard to find outside the lottery. |

Not just the on ball skills, just general court awareness by age. Two essentials that set up a high floor/baseline level of talent for any guard/wing in the league. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I think there is no doubt they value THT over Kuz. Kuz has been involved in every trade rumor in the last year, and got a 3 year bargain deal that they can easily use as a trade package in the future.
THT is being prepped to be a starter for the team, and even Vogel said in the bubble that THT could start next (now this) season. Of course we added some major talent, but had we not, I think THT may have had a shot (between him and Alex). |

Agreed. Not looking good for Kuz right now - useless both ends of floor. I think 50/50 chance he gets traded when right deal comes along.
From Mozgov, Deng, Lonzo to Goat, AD, THT et al. How did our fortune change so quickly? (We die-hard Lakers fans damn well deserve it too. ) _________________ Lakers fan since that Magical day June 25, 1979. |

Kid is a baller. So evident he needs to be moving up in minutes.

I have no words for how good he looked today. I know Harden wasn’t himself, but still the kid’s defense on him was incredible. He was knocking down his open threes and had the ball on a string. Incredible. |
