I hope that is it, but I think that there is no way we can tell.

The injury bug this year has killed the Lakers. Can you imagine where we would be with a healthy Mihm & Kwame + Walton?

Oh well, that is what makes things interesting.

At the same time, I'd think that a team receiving Kwame would want to see him play (to verify that it would be worth it).

How come that Lakers players ankle injuries are always worse than expected ( i.e Mihm, then Brown then Walton) ?


Are those ankles really that special?

If a player has been playing and suddenly he doesn't play unexpectedly, you might suspect he's being held out. If a player has been injured, it's more likely he would be played prior to a trade to prove he is fit to play.
