19-26. WOW! Reminds me of Kobe's 20-25 game against the Rockets. PJ called it Kobe's most perfect game. Bron doing this at 36 is unreal. |

Wait they give it to the guy on the team with the best record almost every year. Now we are gonna change that formula. Makes no sense. |

The man continues to amaze me. Putting up that performance at his age. Not just the skills but the ability to “put the team on his shoulders for the win”. They needed the performance to take this game, they were being outplayed and should have lost.
And not exactly like this is an outlier either. He is doing similar on a nightly basis. Not out the realm of possibility he earns that MVP this year. If he wants it! |

How about that sky hook from Lebron. Think we see that more often as he gets older? |

They are different things.
The "best player" is really about expectations of near-term future performance based on past performance over recent seasons; MVP is about the actual performance in one specific season. |

exactly, how did Harden and Westbrook won those MVPS? unreal numbers.
Lebron probably won't have good enough numbers given how Lakers blowing out a lot of teams. |

It’s generally a function of personal stats, team wins, competition for the award, plus a compelling story of some sort.
For example, Harden’s numbers in his MVP year were actually not as good as some of his years before and after. However, the Rockets won 65 games. |

Here is a fancam of the Cavs front office guy celebrating after Lebron's end of 3rd quarter miss which pissed Lebron off. And then led to Lebron dropping 21 in the 4th quarter.
I think there was an expectation that it wasn't that bad and Lebron was just looking for some extra motivation. That guy definitely was a little much. He looked right at Lebron 5 feet away and did the annoying loud clap. Something a pest like Patrick Beverly or Draymond would do. Can't really blame Lebron for making note of it. |

I think it’s personal because that guy is connected to Dan Gilbert
Lebron still hates the guy. Same with Riley and the Heat, believe one of his other 50 pt games was against them a year or two ago right? Not a coincidence. |

I'll defend LBJ tooth and nail if a non-Laker fan hates on him. Heck I do that with most our players.
But since this is just between us (Laker fam). I'll say it.
I hate that LBJ hugs, shakes hands, gets all lovey dovey with opposing players after we win a game. But when we lose, he stomps off the court like a petulant child. Sometimes heading to the tunnel before the game is even over.
That's some soft (bleep). Win like a man. And lose like a man. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I wondered this during the game, but based on Embiid comments after the game I think he really tried to get LeBron ejected. I didn’t even think it was a flagrant, but refs had to call it based on Embiid’s reaction. But then to go and cry to media about it should have been a flagrant 2 and ejection? That’s weak. Should be a non story |

LeBron leaves the court after the game when we win or lose. You haven’t noticed that? I actually think they should keep all that to a minimum due to COVID. They beat the Cavaliers and you could tell the Cavs young guys were waiting for him but Bron was gone... |

That’s just a strange take. Especially since he does that with a win or loss. |

I just hope the carry job Lebron has had to do early on doesn’t take it’s toll at some point.
We are relying on this guy like he is 26 not 36.
Against Philly it was like we couldn’t even score with him off the court. |

LeBron is really going to have to continue knocking down 3s. It will extend his career because it looks like he’ll still be dragging guys to the finish line every night. I always say it’s like he’s blessed and curse. He’s been carrying teams forever no matter how great they look on paper |

Yeah, this is strange, but true.
There was no excuse for him to have to carry those fools like he did in his last year in Cleveland, but yet, they forgot how to basketball in his presence.
It happens everywhere. |
