Here we go, so it's really Bron and THT who can find him in the pnr play. They should keep doing this. |
So it's a point of emphasis for THT (and Lebron). Why not for DS? |
It's just they had the most assists on a rolling harrell this season, that's why the emphasis is on them. It would be good though if DS will also do it with Harrell. But DS is more focus on attacking and pulling up in the perimeter after a screen than in passing to the rolling man, unlike Bron and THT. |

What I wonder about Lou is why he tends to underperform in the postseason. |
That can be said about a lot of gifted scorers. Unfortunately in post season lou is expected to play D and thats saps some energy. |
Teams also tend to take games far more seriously in the playoffs and actually start reading scouting reports and game planning to take away strengths and don’t have to worry about thinking about another team until their series against you is finished. |

Well, DS, is a starter and Trezz the backup center. Not as many minutes in the court at the same time. |

DS's maturation will be reflected in his ability to do both. He has the blazing quickness and speed to get by practically anyone he wants, and he also has a nice mid-range jumper.
So the emphasis going forth is teaching him, and coaching him into a balance of being able to attack at will, and to look for the opportunities to hit Trez when available.
He then becomes a bigger problems for the league defenses. |

His intensity is contagious.
Trezl burned the Nuggets for 13 & 4 w/ some monster slams. |

Another thing is the Lakers are good at getting Jovic in foul trouble neutralizing any liability Harrell has against him.
The Clippers on the other hand like to shoot 3s. Which doesn’t result in a lot of fouls and pressure on Jovic. |

Yep. Yep. Looking forward to seeing how these games playout against the Nuggets.
First game tonight, he handled his business when he went up against Jokic for however many possessions that was. Dumbest thing we did was send a double to help Trezz one time and we gave up a three. Other than that, when we left him on an island, he was fine whenever they matched up. Good work by our new guys tonight at C. Hope they can repeat. |

Trezz held his own which is great to see, but playoffs is a different beast - jury is still out long term but his D has definitely been better than advertised.
The man is balling though, if anything again you could argue he needs more shots and minutes given his efficiency and effort on D. |

maybe his post defense against taller guys, but he did great when rotating out toward the perimeter. sometimes he is slow to get back though.
he fits lakers defense scheme especially when AD is backing him up. |

Lakers FO will likely have a idea on what Harrell and his camp are thinking in terms of coming to a agreement on a extension with the Lakers soon. They won’t do what the Clippers did by letting a good player walk without getting something back, Pelinka is a smart GM |

That's the huge difference...AD.

4 year/ 60M contract seems reasonable for both Harrell and the Lakers |

I love the ferocity he attacks the rim with, and his mean mugging is hilarious with his jacked up teeth |

Good heart and soul guy for a team. The kind of player that picks up the team energy when it's waning. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

DS just doesn't look for others first. I was excited that DS and Trezl could be like Lou and Trezl, but realizing DS's idea of a PNR is you pick, I shoot. LOL! |

He's really not that type of PG though. People thought he was literally Rondo 2.0. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Forgive me for nitpicking - but PNR is the most basic team play there is. Expecting DS to engage in PNR is a FAR cry from expecting him to be Rondo. Rondo is/was a complete floor general - a coach on the floor who saw plays (on both offense and defense) way before almost anyone else does/did. PNR is a tiny part of what Rondo can/could do. |

Let's face it, if we want to see a P 'n R don't expect to see it from our point guards, it'll be via Bron. |
