Do you feel Center's with his style of play would fit next to AD? I like big strong C's but I wonder if C's like Bassey who provides better spacing on the court is the better complement. |
Just putting him on the radar because I think he can play, even if he's just a slightly more fluid Gorgui Dieng out there. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Quote: | Franz Wagner - nice all around player but did not see a standout skill. Probably best suited at PF but will need to add strength and bulk. Would draft in the 20's.

Defense. He's a wing with PF movement. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

That's it. I could not describe his play. He doesn't look as nimble as Avdija. I think in the long term he is a PF. |

St. Marys vs. Gonzaga only watched the 1st half as it was a blow out.
With such a disparity of talent between teams it is hard to judge the Gonzaga players. Just some observations.
Kispert shoots a low arcing shot. Does he need to increase the arc at the longer NBA distance? A nice straight line athlete.
Timme - will get muscled in the NBA early in his career. However got bball talent. Would like to see if he has a perimeter game as he did all his work inside against an outmanned St. Mary's.
Ayayi - nice role player who can do everything fairly well. Also need to see him against a more athletic team.
Suggs - didn't have to do much this game although he was engaged on both ends. Liked that he played within the team framework even though he wasn't getting his on offense.
Nembhard - not sure what to make of his talent. Seemed similar to Ayayi. |
