Trezz passing out of the post makes me cringe. Almost always a turnover.
That said, good game today. Good energy. |

The new catch phrase for those drawn to confirmation bias: “empty stats”.
Ridiculous.
If those stats truly are empty, and one is asked to look beyond the same when evaluating Trez, one will find a player who plays with relentless effort and the heart of a lion.

He needs to be in the starting lineup already. Can post up, take his man off the dribble, can hit a jump shot and gets a ton of offensive rebounds. Really the only guy on the team that can create his own shot in multiple ways for the time being. Bench Gasol.

Trezz prefers to come off the bench iirc |

And AD doesn’t like playing center, but he will when we need it. |

I wish we could re-sign this guy in the off-season hopefully he opts in but I think he'll get his bag

Few players know how to give a ball-handler an open passing window as well as Trezz does

I hate how he's often portrayed as this low-IQ player, because he's not. Some ppl are good at geometry and others are good at algebra, and he has a brilliant understanding of the always-changing geometry of offensive basketball. He gets himself open as well as any big in the NBA.

Not sure how you followed Trezz all year and think he’s struggling and underperforming.
…unless of course you’re not following Trezz all year

Could you imagine our offense without him this season? And not just with LeBron and AD out. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

^This is in response to KOC saying that Trezz is underperforming. Pete went off on him. |

Trez has been one of my favorites to watch other than Schroder with LeBron and AD out. |

Another double-double for Trez!
18 points (8-13 FG / 61.5%), 11 Rbs, 2 sts, 2 ast / +14 |

He should work on passing out of the post, especially when double teamed. He can make a lot of things happen out there. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant |

He also needs to stop getting lost defensively and blaming his teammates for his said lapses. Take some accountability, Trez.
He's a stat hunter who needs to learn team ball. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

I’ve noticed that all season long too. That’s definitely my least favorite trait about him. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant |

Montrezl Harrell in 24 games without AD:
17.6 PPG
7.2 RPG
1.0 BPG
64.6% TS
26.3 MPG |
In contrast, PJ Tucker in three games with the Bucks is averaging one point a game. Yep, one. Small sample size, but (bleep) _________________ #18 next... |

Passing out the post ? Nope, he’s a realist Caruso, THT, and Wes aren’t hitting the shots and can’t be counted on ... he had no problem passing to Lou because Lou is an actual bucket
Getting lost on defense ? Yes, he gets lost and he sometimes gets frustrated at the wrong people like when he and Kuz didn’t communicate but he talked it out. Likewise you can’t ignore that the game before Tucker ran into him twice and he screamed at him and then he calmed down, talked it out and patted him in the chest. We don’t switch everything, the clippers last year did to a fault and never fought over a screen which is why the nuggets and mavs exploited them so badly. |

Pffft everybody knows trezz cant pass out of the post. It’s either a turnover or off target. Would give another dimension to his offensive game if he adds this to his arsenal. |

Passing out of the post is one of the things he definitely has to work on. Right now it is not good.
But, after all, he is a bench/role player and a very good one at that despite his limitations. |

Trez’s passing is actually decent. He is actually sneaky good from top of the key finding guys on back door cut, etc.
The perplexing thing with Trez is how he is a poor defensive rebounder, especially when he is elite on the offensive rebounding end. |

Facilitating from the nail and from the post is totally different. |

I think the thing with Trez is in the post he is so focused on beating his man. He doesn’t particularly look to pass. It’s back down or face up and try to score
It’s basically:
1) drive to the basket
2) drive to the basket
3) drive to the basket
4) pull up from midrange
22) pass it out of post |
