So here it is, tell me what you think. Outgoing to Sacramento Odom, Cook,Shammond and Mckie. Incoming Artest and Bibby. The salaries match with the 25% rule. Sacramento wins with a playmaker like Odom and a shooter like Cook as well as two expiring contracts at the end of the year. Lakers win because we finally get a Pg that can stop other point guards as well as be the second scoring option that we don't have that's also not afraid to take the last shot, giving us another option besides Kobe at the end of the game which every team needs especially come playoff time. We also get a defensive presence at the sf that we really need and a player who knows how to play team defense as well as be a one on one defensive stopper. Our starting lineup would look like this:

Center - Kwame
pf - Turiaf
sf - Artest
sg - Kobe
pg - minnie me

Backups:
c - Bynum
pf - Vladrad
sf - Luke, Evans
sg - Sasha
pg - Smush, Farmar

Now that is a starting 5 that will play defense and a deep bench. What do you guys think?

Why does Sacramento do that again? Mitch would probably have a tough time getting just one of those guys for the package you proposed. Both of them? No way.

We've already been through Artest as a Laker. He would be about as helpful as he has to Sacramento (i.e. the start of a regressive trend directing the team on a path away from the playoffs instead of towards it) Artest is an unquestioned talent, but not a piece to add if winning is important. Ultimately this very talented player finds ways to help a team lose instead of win through some rather creative methods on his part. No Thank You....

Isn't the reason Bibby is being shopped is because he cant stand Artest?
