we dont know if hes working hard to come back. he planned on being free this summer. does he jeopardize that for a ring run? we dont know. Its a scary injury. If he tweaks it his hand is forced. he took a year off and quit on a team to rehab.

Lets assume it's a sprain, well it happened a week ago Monday. He's out at the very minimum another week. Then he's back from a sprain in 2 weeks? He would be lucky to play at 60-70%.
Plus that ACL won't be stable, go ask KD about pushing an injury. Remember his calf injury he came back too soon and ended up rupturing his achilles.

Kawhi must have a very mild grade 1 ACL sprain (microscopic tearing) if the Clippers haven't ruled him out for the series. Of course, this could all be gamesmanship. You never know with his camp.
I don’t believe Kawhi has a torn ACL but given his contract situation , I think he has something nagging and he does not want to risk it like what happen to KD. Clippers are probably cautiously optimistic. Suns will easily win the serious in 5 games if he will not play at all in this series.
A "tear" is the one universal term in this discussion. A sprain (ligament), or strain (muscle), are both "tears", but vary in severity by grade 1, 2, or 3.
