The Lakers were outstanding from 3 in that year with Young, Meeks, and Kendall Marshall etc.
In recent seasons they’ve been inconsistent but were usually lights out whenever they needed to be.
I wasn’t expecting much this year so I don’t know if this is going to last or if it’s just a product of getting hot in a long stretch of home games against bad teams. |

Yeah, the Meeks, Young, Marshall team was dreadful overall but they could shoot 3-pointers well. |

| Right after this thread was made, the Lakers can't buy a 3. They are shooting terrible from the 3 point range. |

| Ellington is what Wesley Matthews was supposed to do with us and I actually saw some nice defensive moments from Ellington today, maybe Vogel can install some D in his game, very good pick up by the Lakers FO. |

This is why those 3-and-D guys are so valuable. There aren’t many players that can make three’s and defend them.
