Sometimes when a team is struggling, as the Lakers are, a long road trip can help them build chemistry and the right mindset. I've read about how such trips can help because they get away from home and all the distractions that brings, plus they build an "us vs the world" mentality and have more opportunities to bond off the court.
Also, with tough opponents like the Bucks and Knicks, the Lakers won't have a lot of room to be casual and lackadaisical.
Do you guys feel like this road trip could loom as a turning point for this team? LeBron and THT seem likely to return by early in the trip, which would help even more. |

I hope so man but maybe more on a young team, vet team, I don't know, almost 20% of the season so it's a good point to evaluate, a D minus from me so far |

Actually, the Lakers's schedule has been really favorable so far with a lot of home games and only one b2b. Going on the road with a lot of oldies might cause fatigue issues. I just feel...old. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

Hope you're right, they need something to get them back on track. Hopefully they leave with a 2 win streak though _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

The Lakers issues are deep and fundamental. I expect them to take a while to sort them out, if they ever do. |

Not trying to sound like a smart a_s, but no this trip is not what we need. What we need most is to get as healthy as possible to get a true evaluation of our talent.
Until then Vogel will be the mad scientist as he experiments with different lineups. |

way tooo favorable but we sure needed it with all the injuries
If we get Bron back or Reaves and Nunn the team can be out there in enemy territory and focus on kicking ass instead of being home with family etc |
