CONTEXT ON NUNN

So Harrison made that tweet yesterday but it was in reference to something that was posted on the 15th so that's why I'm saying it's not new news. Here are the original tweets and the original article about it for folks who missed it and are interested.

TDRock wrote:
STILL NUNN

Per Buha 11/15/21

Kendrick Nunn is “still a ways away” from returning, per Vogel. There is no update on his status.

https://twitter.com/jovanbuha/status/1460424806218670082?s=21

Per Faigen 11/24/21

Here are Vogel's most extended comments on Nunn (and they're why I don't anticipate him back anytime soon)

https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1463708810573336579?s=21

In reference to his Article on 11/15/21 - https://www.silverscreenandroll.com/2021/11/5/22766113/lakers-injury-report-kendrick-nunn-not-close-return-timeline-knee-bone-bruise

So it's not new news it's just the nature of the beast of a bone bruise injury.

REAVES AVAILABLE

Per Goon

Austin Reaves is available, Frank Vogel says.

https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1464410587765477377?s=21

Per Woike

Austin Reaves will be available to play tonight. So will LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but mainly, Austin Reaves is available (probably won’t be in the rotation).

https://twitter.com/danwoikesports/status/1464410679616565253?s=21

A more coherent version of what Woike was saying...

Per Trudell

Both Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves are available tonight.

The Lakers are as healthy as they’ve been so far this season (Nunn/Ariza out). We’ll see how Vogel utilizes the guard spots especially, and where he can work Reaves in w/Westbrook, Bradley, THT, Monk and Ellington.

INJURIES FROM THE OTHER SIDE

Per Trudell

Both Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes are out for Sacramento tonight.

The Kings will start Chimezie Metu and Alex Len in their places.

LBJ SAYS ABS ARE MOSTLY OK

Per Faigen

LeBron tells @LakersReporter that he's fine after grabbing at his hip during the fourth. He says he just still feels his rectus abdominis injury sometimes, even since returning.

"I'll be all right... it didn't linger too much."

https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1465184338924826631?s=21

Per Trudell

LeBron mentioned the collision he took in the walkoff on Spectrum, saying he was OK, and added in the postgame group interview: “I’ll be ready to go on Tuesday.”

ARIZA - FAR BUT CLOSE

Per Buha

Frank Vogel says Trevor Ariza is still “a ways away” but that he’s getting closer. Vogel said he think the Lakers will be able to play AD at the 5 more with Ariza in the rotation.

Per Trudell

Frank Vogel on Trevor Ariza: “Still a ways away. I don’t think we’re putting a timetable on it … but he’s getting closer.”

Said Ariza could be a key to unlocking some of their preferred lineups with AD at the 5.

ARIZA SPEAKS

Per Trudell

Trevor Ariza said he’s feeling “better,” that he’s starting to run on his own, to get on the court shooting, and doing some movements he has to get used to again.

https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/1465447654482079746?s=21

Per Faigen

Trevor Ariza says that "it sucked to have to be out, especially with the position we're in right now."

He says he's tried to help the team by watching the games and pointing things out to his teammates from the sidelines.

https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1465447753761189888?s=21

Per Trudell

Ariza acknowledged about his being out, limiting some of L.A.‘s possible and preferred lineups: “It’s definitely frustrating because there are so many things we can do with the full roster.”

https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/1465448169035104258?s=21

Per Ward

Trevor Ariza on his return to the floor: "I don't have a definite date. It's all on when the doctor clear."

https://twitter.com/ryanwardla/status/1465448220176224256?s=21

Per McTen

Trevor Ariza, seven weeks removed from a procedure on his ankle during training camp, says he doesn’t have a specific return date in mind yet. Said it will come down to how his body responds from continuing to do full weight-bearing activities and on doctor clearance.
