I'm thinking something like an animated purple and gold mushroom cloud, maybe three lines tall, with about a half-dozen miniaturized and charred dead bananas lying around it or something.

Wouldn't mind seeing an animated elbow to Stu Jackson's grill. |
That would be so dope. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

Now it just looks like it was mental fatigue from literally carrying a scrub team on his back. Since Lamar and Luke have returned he is looking like a 24 year old Kobe again.
I watched the game again this morning with my 8 year old. The look of awe and hero-worship on his face was classic. He's watched each of the last three games and I can guarantee that some day ... when he is an old fart like me ... he will be telling stories to HIS kids about the time when Kobe made history. |
Nice post. My kids are still a little too young to really notice. But, no doubt it will make an impression on yours.
Regarding his legs. Yeah, he's got his jumper back. Defensively, I still think there are some issues. But he certainly doesn't look physically and mentally fatigued like he did. Maybe just having Luke and Lamar in the trenches with him has helped in that regard. Having them do the initiating and heavy lifting that he had been burdened with helps a ton. Now he gets the ball in positions where he can attack from a lot easier. He's also freed up from doing as much playmaking now that we have the two other playmakers back. |
