Did you also note in the title that Kobe apparently beat the Warriors with poetry? (verses vs versus)
Kobe dropping a dime, or a score right on time,
It was almost a crime
The way with reason and rhyme, he blew everyone's mind.
He made Mike a believer, in this awesome achiever,
Golden State the receiver
Of the truth, not a deceiver.
The fans were dispeptic, the moves were electric,
Not to be too didactic
But he was intergalactic, yet sublimely eclectic
His glory beguiles, turning boos into smiles,
There can be no denials
He's a man among boys, they're transfixed in the aisles.
Fakes a step then reverses, snatches hearts like they're purses,
Drops a J that draws curses
In his ear sweet as verses, he sends them all home in hearses.
With the legs of a colt, he's a live thunderbolt,
Shedding Warriors like molt
In a classic performance, put this one in the volt.

I was gonna suspend you for the personal attack, digital_assassin_2378... but given the fact, that you just made yourself look the absolute fool...
I'll let it slide.
aww man its all in good fun, no one hates anyone in here we just get rowdy and a lil rude from time to time. _________________ "To me he is the best player in the world right now. well, the loss to the clips stung last night...so i figured id go visit the ''cheer me up thread'' during my lunch break. speaking of lunch...can someone pass the solt? _________________ To one who has accomplished so much, we congratulate you on this most valuable honor.
I would like to nominate that the post of the year.
Although it would come in approximately 7000th place as Tach would win first to 6999 with any of his posts, still honorable though.
I don't know, 24's post was pretty damn funny. I almost choked on my lunch when I read that.
I mean, Kobe beat the Warriors with VERSES! He should be mentioned in the same breath as one of the all-time greats along Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson and T.S. Eliot. What we are witnessing before our eyes right now is historic! Kobe is by far the hands-down favorite for Most Valuable Poet this year. Anyone in the media that disagrees is simply drinking that BSPN Haterade.
It's very fitting for him though; when you consider how incredible his game can be at times, it seems nothing but watching "poetry in motion".

Thanks! I don't know what got into me. I write a lot of serious poetry, but that was my first attempt at a rap. Completely different rhythm than I am familiar with, glad it made you laugh. This thread was just too good to pass by without contributing.
That being said, it would be good of us to hault with the attack on digitalassassin. Its not his folt that he kant spell and we don't want him to bault to another forum. He's too valuable for entertainment, and deserves a special hol in the lg volt. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.
