I'm rooting for GGG but I really just want the fight to be worth the 80 bucks. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Thinking GGG will win. But I'm rooting for the underdog Canelo. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Alvarez is probably going to need a knockout at this point....I have GGG winning 5 rounds and Alvarez winning 2 through 7. |

She's screwed up more fights, both Boxing and MMA, than I can count. If there's a Mount Rushmore of (bleep) judges, she's on it. |

I knew this was going to happen. Short of a KO, zero chance GGG was going to get the nod with the judges. The fact they had it a draw shows how much they realized how badly he beat Canelo. If it was even close, it would have been a unanimous decision for Canelo. GBP in Vegas...come on... _________________ KOBE |

I didn't think it was THAT lopsided but I also thought GGG won it. It was close and I can see where the judges might have seen it as a draw.
There was no way in hell it was as lopsided for Canelo as Adelaide Byrd saw it. I wasn't expecting him to Mayweather it as much as he did tonight.
GGG gave him too much respect early on but he took some good shots from Canelo that probably would have stopped other fighters. I look for him to be much more aggressive and go to the body more in the next one. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I'd give the edge to GGG because of how effective his jab was. But I think a draw is fine considering Canelo's power shots.
I actually might bet on Canelo in the rematch. I think he was starting to figure out GGG in the later rounds.
GGG's ability to eat punches is amazing. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

I could see the match ending in a draw but 118-110 is a ridiculous score.... |

GGG got robbed. I had it 119 112 and that was being generous for Canelo. GGG walked him down, took Canelo's best shots and wasn't phased. Alvarez did a Mayweather run most of the fight. I don't know what fight Roy Jones was watching. He said Canelo was backing GGG up. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

That's why I'd bet on GGG to win the second fight. The first three rounds he respected Canelo's power and was probably right to do so but by the middle of the fight I thought Canelo's hand speed went way down and he got flat-footed after the first minute of the rounds while GGG kept coming. I think if GGG mixed up his attacks while he had Canelo on the ropes instead of headhunting every round he could have created the openings for his power shots. _________________ "Suck it up. I watched with my homie. He was all Canelo in the beginning. After round four he was quite as a church mouse. Canelo lost heart when he gave GGG his best and saw it didn't phase him. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
