Algieri should never ever get another TV appearance again. I had it 119-103. Go collect your 1.5 million and be a dr. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

After the 9th round Algeiri's trainer told him "Chris we are right where we want to be." This was after being knocked down twice and barely finishing the round and not winning another round. Great plan. |

Yeah, his trainer is definitely not experienced enough. Master boxer my a$$. Worst strategy ever. Round I have Algieri was 5. If Algieri kept using his length and pivoting away from Manny's left, could have been a little more competitive. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

I bought it, just cuz I thought it would be a knockou. 3 legit knockdowns and 6 scored was good for me. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

I got a sweet stream, clear as a bell, no pixels. My computer feed can be transferred to my wide screen.
If Algieri had fought Pacquiao the way he fought Provodnikov he may have had a chance. He didn't, he just stayed out of Pacman's way.
It seemed to me as though he fought to survive not to win. I got the impression he was afraid of Manny's power, which is surprising because Ruslan can punch, 17 KO's in his 23 wins and he stood in with him.
His first loss may take him out of big fight contention. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I googled Pacquio vs Algieri and found a stream so clear it was scary. I thought any minuet it was going to go down, it didn't. Glad I didn't spit the cash. Chris ran faster than MoneyMay. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

After Algieri tasted pacmans power.. It was bike time.. He didn't throw nearly as many jabs as he did against ruslan. It's because manny can counter his jab way better than ruslan. Provodnikov is a one trick pony. Any boxer can beat him. A brawler matched up with him is way more entertaining.
Sad thing is that Algieri is still young and could have been headed for good things..he needs a better camp.. Terrible game plan.. Terrible trainer.
It'd be cool to watch a Bradley/Algieri fight. Or rios.. Or maidana or broner..
But get him a better camp first. |

Loved Manny's post-fight interview where he played the part he did for the Footlocker commercial with the, "He's going to fight me? He's going to fight me?" |

it just proves that the best way to beat Manny is to slug it out with him... and get one lucky punch in. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Manny want's Floyd. I don't think Floyd wants Manny. I don't think he's afraid of him, I think he's wary of losing his 0.
If Manny fights Floyd the way he fought Algiere he'll get picked apart.
Manny's praise of God is something I've never noticed before. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So then he's afraid of him. He's afraid he's going to destroy his lifestyle, his livelihood, the misery he would have to live through if he lost. Physically getting his ass beat is probably the least damage that would be done. |

No, he's not afraid. He's cautious.
Wary doesn't mean afraid. Floyd doesn't want to lose his 0. He thinks Manny is a threat so, IMO, he's avoiding him.
I also believe Floyd thinks he can beat Manny. I don't think he's willing to put it out there just yet.
When he's ready to hang up the Everlasts he'll fight Manny. One last hoorah.

You can apologize for him all day if that's in fact the way he thinks then a bit*h is a (bleep) is a (bleep). Read, digest, and assimilate. If your side stepping a man because you think you'll lose than you can use any cute vernacular you want to side step the fact that he has the fear in him. I would put money that Floyd takes it if they do ever fight and I completely understand the logistics and politics that have went into them not being able to come together but if we're going to assume that what you state is the only thing in his way then let's it's clear as day that he has more than just a little reservation about fighting him. |

I agree Floyd's protecting his lifestyle, lively hood, I ain't mad at him. I want to see him fight Manny but I don't have a "lifestyle, lively hood" to protect.
I'm not apologizing for him, he's a multi millionaire, he's doesn't need my petty protection. I don't like what he's doing, I'm just offering opinions as to why he's doing it.
If you're angry because Floyd doesn't do what YOU want him to, that's your prerogative. LINK Floyd's not the only fighter doing this, he's the only one who's doing it on his own, no Arum's, De La Hoya's.
Call him all the expletives deleted you want to, it does not alter he's the best business fighter in the game. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
