Berto should not step in the ring with Maidan because Maidana will really hurt him.

Maidana should get in the ring with Garcia.

I'd love to see Maidana vs. Garcia. That would be entertaining for sure.

I'd also love to see a rematch with Ortiz and Berto, as well, and I agree...Maidana is extremely dangerous for Berto.

Hectic day and didn't get a chance to post schedule.

http://fightnights.com/boxing-schedule

Lots of boxing this weekend. And, don't forget Nonito Donaire has a comeback fight at 122 Saturday, which would have to be streamed (since it's in the Philippines).

Johnny got worked. Good showing by Russell, if he fights like this, a Lomachenko rematch would be nice.

It was obvious from the opening bell who had the quicker hands.
Gonzales had no chance.

I had the Charlo vs Martirosyan fight 96 96. Judges cards 96-94, 96-94, and 97-93. If Charlo had won round 10 would have given him the fight. I had him winning 87 86 in the 9th.

Adalaide Byrd is usualy a good judge. I don't how she got 97 93.

Yea for sure but I think everyone was surprised that he could hurt him even though Johnny has been down before. He went at him which was thought to be a bad idea. Charlo vs martirosyan could have gone either way, hard to be mad with either guy winning. Don't really have a problem with 97-93, that's just one round going the other way and alot of rounds were really close, atleast not to the point of disbelief.

I did not expect that at all, but was happy to see Gary Russell Jr. come back strong like that. He looked very good and impressive against Jhonny. Even though Jhonny has been ko'd in the past, that was the type of fight I expected him to give Lomachenko. Would love to see a rematch with the two, now that he's got a belt.

Jo, I had a draw too! Yeah, I really am not sure what Adalaide saw. The angles must have missed some punches that Vanes landed.

And any thoughts on Kel Brook's performance against Jo Jo Dan and the way that he dominated? Considering he was stabbed in the leg, shortly after beating Shawn Porter, I was really impressed.

I wish Amir wasn't running so hard from him. I'd love to see that fight, with the winner facing the winner of Floyd vs. Manny for a complete unification.

HBO is also gonna do a Mayweather Pacquiao special on April 18th.

I thought that they networks said they weren't but it would be foolish not to put some butter and syrup on the pancakes.

Wembley would be smart. 99.875274891% would be there for Froch.

Doesn't sound like any real negotiations are taking place just some media posturing. Ward got a boatload of money from Roc Nation, he's not super motivated to fight anyone soon it seems. He says get on the phone, well how about your agent get on the phone with his if you want to make the fight.

Oh I forgot who does the match making for Roc Nation?

Man I don't even know ....... David Itskowich (sp) is supposed to be the COO.

Hopefully they make this fight because the first fight wasn't that much of a blowout .....

Algieri possible next for Khan or Broner?
http://www.badlefthook.com/2015/4/1/8325163/chris-algieri-aiming-for-a-fight-with-khan-or-broner

At least he made the smart move of upgrading his trainer. Worst thing for his career would be to experience another "cage" incident.

Amir might be fighting Broner, so that one is out. I think best fight for him would be winner of Dulorme vs. Crawford, assuming the winner comes out victorious without a need for a long layoff.

Of course, he could fight the winner of Matthyse vs. Provodnikov too.

Either way, I do agree with you dough.

One of the great moments in sports casting history. Though, Kellerman truly loves Algieri, being a fellow Long island resident and all.

Kind of off-topic, but did anyone see the trailer for "Southpaw?" It looks like Jake Gyllenhaal got into really good shape for this...50-cent plays his manager/promoter. Movie looks promising.
