Was a major step up for Slick Willie. I was rooting for him because I wanted to at least get my money worth. Was a pretty nice card all the way through. A lot of stoppages, even the ladies fight was decent.

Roman Gonzalez is no joke and finally people got to see what he's really about. Often rated 4-7 in the top ten P4P. Dude just destroyed Sosa.

Golovkin was pretty much Golovkin. Once he felt Monroe's power, it was a wrap.

Monroe has 6 KO's. I don't think anyone ever felt ggg was in any type of trouble.

Sorry, dough. I was trying to video at the fight. Saw u, pretty sure.

I was really impressed with Monroe. I think he would give a lot of the top guys a great fight. In fact, before watching the replay, my cuz and I had 3-2 with rounds, b4 the 6th. Part of it was the distance from the ring cuz I remember thinking Kelly Pavlik lost at Stubhub in 2012, but he ended dominating.

It was awesome. Better than the Rubio fight cuz Monroe put up a better fight.

And Chocolatito is legit. He is a mini GGG

And my cousins and I repped our Showtime Lakers jerseys, for support of GGG's colors tonight and the return to the Forum. Now, I do have to say that I wasn't too impressed with the rennovated building.

dough, what was with that one stoppage in the 10th. I think it was the 2nd fight. From our seats, it seemed like such a bad stoppage. It was the only fight everyone was booing.

Ok, just had a crazy thought, but since B-Hop had said he wants to try Super Middleweight. GGG vs.B-Hop?

Dude was taking a pounding. Took two brutal shots but it didn't phase him. Only about 45 seconds left. Should have let him go out on his shield. Bad stoppage but dude had no chance of winning.

Pretty cool until the alcohol started flowing through some dude's body. Rather be by drunk nerds with tight shirts than drunk ese's. You just don't know what may pop off. Been there before.

And there was a plethora of scattered ass everywhere. Nicaraguan women carry much luggage. One chick's tail was so big, it probably had its own congressman.

Yeah but I saw a chink in the armor. Gennady can be hit and hit often. If he gets hit by Cotto, Ward or Canelo that many times it's going to take it's toll.

When he boxed Monroe he did a decent job but he has to learn to protect his chin.

He's not going to get Cotto, he'll fight Canelo or vacate. Canelo is in Canelo weight of 155, Golovkin wants him now then they'll make him drop which he won't and shouldn't. Canelo will wait out Cotto or pray for a Mayweather rematch then move up and probably take two fights at 160 before going at ggg. GGG has to hope for Quillen or Lee or its tomato cans for 2 years.

He needs a dancing partner to carry him, he doesn't have that type of following yet. No one on his resume would have warranted a venue at Vegas.

A B-side fighter will not have his own headline fight in Vegas. He actually needs to fight a good fighter to fight in Vegas, lol.

How many PPVs has GGG sold as the only star on the card? How many PPVs has GGG sold without a dance partner?

He doesn't have to be a headliner....
I'm surprised he hasn't fought in any undercard events in his career in Vegas. You look at some of the fights Mayweather and Pacquiao fought early in their careers, they had a couple of fight in Vegas, where they were relatively unknown.

Difference between having a top promoter like TR or GBP compare to a company like K2.

K2's biggest stars are GGG and the Klitschko brothers. Klitschko brothers mostly fight outside the US. It's hard to have GGG even in an undercard when his promoter mostly works outside the US. A company like TR and GBP would rather keep the money in house or share it between them because they know they can make more money in the long run. Hard to put someone like GGG in an undercard when it doesn't really benefit their own company.

You can't come to the US and expect to get good fights if you're not working with a top US promoter. This is why Canelo and Khan signed with GBP when they came to fight in the US because they wanted big fights. Khan's first fight in the US was against Paulie and made over a million for the fight.

it was pretty nice ......... I try to hit up one big fight and a few of the smaller ones every year. So right now, I'll start saving for a big fight in 2016. Kinda see if I can stash at least 300-500 and prepare for next year. So far, this year has been really good.

Atmosphere was great. Sat by some respectable people and some who were liquored up. But all in all, it was a really good experience.

Trying to get out of that parking lot was brutal, so we just sat there for about 45 minutes and watched all the hot chicks with their 75 year old "partners", errrrrrrrrr grandfathers.
