I didn't see anything special with Austin Trout's 1st fight back. He actually looked like the same fighter, except he was fighting a tomato can, so he got a ko. I couldn't see him beating Cotto in a rematch either. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

Lots of boxing this weekend

And, wanted to point out Anthony Joshua is fighting tomorrow. Not televised here, but Sky sports, so it's possible there'll be links out there. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

Been outta commission for a while. Mr. Charlie and Ms. Ann working a brotha to death. I had Kameda up as well. Think he did enough early to win the fight. Had some great combinations. |

Was wondering where u been, dough! You are one of the few that constantly keeps up just as much as I do.
How 'bout last night? We got to see Stephenson KO a tomato can, then call out Kovalev as if Kovalev hadn't been calling him out for so long already. That fight needs to happen. Just hope it can be done. Stephenson fought on Spike TV, so does that mean his Showtime deal is done? No excuses to not make it happen anymore. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

Would be pretty awesome if Mayweather somehow lost this fight vs Berto.
Something like a huge punch that flattens him.
We all know that isn't going to happen though because you have to actually fight (toe to toe) to get something going. For the record, I am not watching.
Should have just made it regular Showtime broadcast.
Anyway, too bad we didn't have time machines. Sugar Ray Leonard was a master of running, out pointing, and had a much bigger punch than Money and would have taken him out fairly easily.

No chance...Mayweather wins easily.
Most of the country is gonna be watching college football this Saturday, so I don't think that PPV will do well. |

Charlo made K9 look his age. Loved the line after the fight: "Don't have a dog fight in the lion's den." 154 is pretty thin so hopefully the Charlo boys can bring it back.
Vanes looked good against Ishe Smith. He should be seeing a title shot soon. |

Purses for May-Berto Card
Quote: | With Mayweather-Berto now just one day away (I know you all are just bubbling with excitement!), the Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the purses for each combatant on the card.
Starting with the man himself, Mayweather will earn "just" his guaranteed minimum of $32M to headline the card. He could potentially see some more if the PPV sells well enough, but I wouldn't bet on it. Andre Berto will be making a career-high purse of $4M.
Working our way down, "Rocky" Martinez will earn $300,000 for taking on Orlando Salido in a rematch. Salido will take home $150,000.
Badou Jack will be defending his super middleweight title against mandatory challenger George Groves. Both men are set to earn $500,000 each for the fight.
Jhonny Gonzalez will make $50,000 in his junior lightweight fight against Jonathan Oquendo, who will also earn the same.
Finally, Ishe Smith and Vanes Martirosyan will due battle on Showtime before the official Mayweather-Berto card begins on PPV. Ishe and Vanes will both take home $150,000 for their troubles.

Berto was aggressive the whole fight.
But Money May was just too crafty. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

It's what he does. He makes you miss, will not exchange which is Manny's, Berto's and others style, and counters you to death. Berto usually gets lumped up but his face was pretty clean after the fight. |

Floyd stung Berto in the 11th. I thought there was a chance for a KO. He knew he had Andre hurt but was smart enough not to do a Pacquiao, get careless and get KDFO.
Floyd did more toe to toe in this fight than I've seen him do in a very long time, surprised me. Andre got frustrated and started talking head. He just couldn't hit Floyd. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

people should know that the dude is not going to fight you. he's gonna pick his pots, check hook you, jab you, hug you, bore you, wash, rinse, repeat and collect a fat ass check. Can't get mad at that.
Berto is a fighter. At the end of everyone of his fights, his eyes close up and he looks like he has two asscheeks on his eyes. that happened against "fighters" Guerrero and Soto Karass. Against Floyd, dude didn't get lumped, just out boxed and couldn't score.
Gets props for bringing the fight to Floyd but it is what it is. |

Money May had a choice. Make 32 million a outing boxing, fans get mad.
Make 4 millions fighting, get all swollen up, have fans clapping.
I'll take the 32 million boxing route. Retire at 38 with a net worth of 650 million.
When Floyd talked about retirement he said what I've been hoping for some time.
He would make good investments and leave the game with all his faculties in tact.
He mention good investments with the help of Al Haymon. He wasn't slurring his speech so I assume his health is A-1.
