Give Kirk Heinrich a 7 foot body and he looks like Jack Haley. Give Haley a 6'3 and he looks like Kirk.

I saw him at Commerce Casino shortly after that episode. He walked by a couple of tables from me and I yelled "hey Jack", he turned around all excited thinking I was a fan of his or something. Then I said "are we getting Boozer?"

He gave me a nasty look and walked away. What a clown.

Give him a break. At a minimum, a deal was close. I've heard from different people that either:

1) when the deal leaked, the Utah fans/press/talk radio went nuts (more because they were helping the Lakers than anything else) and the Jazz backed out, or

2) Buss decided not to take on Boozer's contract, given his injury.

I thought it was because Golden State backed out of it, or was that the Baron Davis trade that fell through?

Yeah, now we don't even need to have a Haley to go crazy about every trade that doesn't happen.
