After watching the Great food truck race I thought it was time for this thread
What are the best food trucks in LA/OC?
Heres mine(in no order)
- Kogi - very good korean/mexican fusion. The only con is the ridiculous long lines.
- Ta bom truck - very good brazilian food
- El Taquito - best taco i ever had in my life( im not mexican so dont bash me)
- Dos Chinos - great asian/latino fusion. great comfort food
Havent tried Grill Em All yet but will when the hype goes down. Tried Nom Nom truck and it was just okay. |

There are these two food trucks I heard of, one Hawaiian shaved ice and the other dim sum... but I don't know the names. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Kogi is definitely awesome, as is The Grilled Cheese Truck _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Grilled Cheese, Kogi, Lomo Arigato
I find the Frysmith truck to be highly overrated. |

There are a couple food truck gatherings near me in Orange County every week. So I've been getting food from a truck once a week for like 6 weeks now.
Here are my favorites so far:
1. Piaggio Gourmet On Wheels

This place is awesome. It's Argentinian food so they put chimichurri on everything. Yum. The portions are also pretty generous, which is generally my complaint with most food trucks. You usually don't get a whole lot of food for your money.
2. Barcelona on the Go

This is Spanish food, but they also put chimichurri on a bunch of stuff.
3. Lime Truck

These guys won the second season of Food Network's Great Food Truck Race. Their food has many international influences and they have bold flavors. |

Slammin' Sliders is a good one. Not just burgers -- they do a fried shrimp slider and a lobster-cake (like crab cakes, but with lboster and crab meat) slider, too. Good flavor, albeit a bit pricey.
