Poor Luke.

They yelled LUUUUUUKE. Not Boo

It's a pretty long tradition they have.

Are you serious?

I guess I never noticed...always sounded like boos to me.

Wow.

I know I heard him say it once, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I think he said something along the lines of "Bill may be your father, but you are my son." If anyone has a link, that would be great. I don't know why, but not finding it is killing me! Thanks

*CRIES MAN TEARS ON OUR LAST RING CEREMONY*

But anyway, looking at Phil give his "son" the ring, is like him passing the torch on the coaching greatness.

Feels like only yesterday when the lakers were the best team in all of sports. Strangely, it also feels like it's been an eternity...

2010 Game 7, my favorite all time. Defensive battle, against our biggest rivals, revenge from 2 years earlier, Kobe coming up big in other ways on an off shooting night, 4th Q comeback, and of course a Chip. Awesome.

This is a great thread. Shows the love/hate for Luke when he was a player.

Jeanie Buss was 19 in 1980...could she be the mother?

Oh boy.... Couldn't stop smiling through out the whole rings presentation. Definitely felt a little emotional seeing the good Doctor one more time.
