Listening to Hartman and Ireland on the air together is actually kinda surreal to me. I missed Hair Weave Steve. Maybe this is the beginning of the end of Willard thus reuniting him with MT. Loose Cannons 3.0?

Hatman is okay, but he took the "hater Hartman" thing way too far. it got old and tired. Ireland's brown nosing is getting close to that.

VIC and Thompson are HUGE homers, and yet they dont rub me the wrong way.

I was channel surfing this morning and someone was sitting in for Cowherd. During the around the globe segment, Willard came on and said a few words, mostly the usual conspiracy stuff.

The host then thanks him and calls him one of the most knowledgeable basketball minds available.

Im not sure what Willards background is, but one of the most knowledgeable in basketball isnt exactly how Id describe him

I listen to Stephen A. Smith & Ryan Ruocco ESPN New York 98.7 11:00am to 1:00pm Pacific. LINK

I recently downloaded the link. I'm going to start to listen to ESPN New York to see how much of a different they are then the Los Angeles version.

Who is on 570 now? I haven't listened to sports radio in ages, the last time I listened daily was during the Kobe trade me debacle...

I remember reading that Fred Roggin was taking over the noon - 3pm slot but I've never heard him take that role.

Petros and Money are still there from 3-7. I used to love them (and still do, to a certain extent), but I'm tired of the same old Laker bashing.

It's crazy how much 570 has fallen. It really does seem to be only a matter of time before Vic joins as well.

KLAC has surpassed KSPN in the ratings thanks to the Dodgers not being on TV.

KLAC (570) 1.0
KSPN (710) 0.8 for April 2014

KLAC was at 0.5 in March and KSPN 1.0 according to Nielsen PPM.

Not surprised considering the Lakers suck, ESPN host and shows suck and no Dodgers on TV.

I can only stand Ireland and Mason. The rest of the bums make my ears bleed.

Bunch of NY/Bay fans running that station.

710 seems to either have laker haters, or guys who are homers. nothing in between really.

the k bros seemed knowledgeable and not homers/haters.. still not sure why they arent on 710, while guys like lyons, marcellus and willard are still on the radio.

Anyone else cringe when Kellerman/Kamentzky said Shaq's "Ching Chong" comment to Yao Ming wasn't racist? How can that not be racist?

If Yao Ming retorted by doing some insulting African "click" dialouge, would we say "oh it's just copying the sound of the language and not being racist?" Highly doubt it.

What a double standard and surprised for someone who proclaims he's so enlightened, that he thinks what Shaq did wasn't racist.

They're obviously bored.

And I could have sworn I heard one of the K-Bros say he thinks space exploration is waste of time. Guy was probably being sarcastic but damn.

Dude, as an Asian, I can't tell you how many fights I got into when I was younger b/c D-bags would say that to me (and still do to this date). That's racist, and the fact Kellerman (who I like) doesn't think it is...ridiculous.

Its funny how Rebecca Wallace got hammered for her "ching chong ling long ting tong" comments and these media guys/celebs get a pass because they say those things in the context of joke.

Shocked? B/c he used that example in the context of the Sterling conversation. Shows ignorance on his end...when he's saying how ignorant Sterling was. Imagine if Sterling said "Ching chong" to his Asian girlfriend...would we have the same uproar?

Again why are you shocked? Being of the same race, I expect this idiocy.

I guess my comment about them being bored was me thinking about loud about why they would be talking about such an old issue then I remembered "Sterling".

Max's attitude towards it is...odd considering his background, being from New York an all and being a Knicks fan with the whole Jeremy Lin "armor" thing.

But yeah, they probably wont get any flak for it.

Seems like Max is just anti-Sterling and his extrapolations are just Hartman heavy extreme so he's just going to take the opposite side of Sterling regardless.

That being said, he's bright enough to know not to defend Shaq's actions.

Now, this is going to sound weird but, for whatever reason, as I was getting ready for work this morning, that very thought of Shaq making fun of Yao in that racist (but gets a pass way that Shaq always seems to get them), kept coming to mind.

What the F man?

yeah that was pretty stupid.

what if yao ming made a remark about kellerman's jewish background in a sarcastic way trying to poke fun at it?
i'm sure he wouldn't feel good about it.

discrimination against asians in this country is rarely brought up but it definitely exists in many places, including top college admissions.
