Can anyone tell me what Dany did exactly to get control of Drogon? I forget. There was that scene after they flew out of the arena, and were chilling on the grass. Dany tried to get him to do something and Drogon in a rage seemed like he might have killed her.
But I don't remember how she sort of tamed him or why he mellowed towards her. |

| Also, looks like it could be Dany, Asha, Sansa, and maybe Cersei who knows running things in Westeros. Maybe that crazy Dorne lady down there. Margaery somewhere. |

Gotta be something indicating his parentage, yeah? Maybe a Targaryen wedding shroud on Lyanna's tomb? Bran can let the audience know through the Weirwoods but Jon needs another way to discover it. |

What I got from the show is that once she embraced being a 'conqueror' Drogon accepted her. |

Yeah, that would make sense, and them being married would give his birth legitimacy, but I don't think that's a legal wedding since Rhaegar was already married. |

AFAIK from the books (I don't read them) is the Targaryens took multiple wives. There's at least precedent.
I can see the show ham-fisting in some explanation for why the marriage might be legal in one of Bran's flashbacks. I'm not sure Jon will realize he's trueborn (if he is trueborn in the first place, that is), but the audience will. |

| I was not impressed with episode 9, i felt jon is a terrible commander, he seees rickon die, and then blindly charges in, and in all accounts should have been killed by those arrows and ended the battle before his army could catch up? |

That is the point. Why is Jon Snow being an impulsive hot head and thereby being a poor commander unimpressive? It's just bad characterization.
He didn't get hit by arrows because they missed? Some people get lucky in combat? Never mind any in-universe reasoning about the Lord of Light protecting him (if you buy it). |

He can help her out when she desperately needs him and tell her to (bleep) off when she's mostly safe. That's the thing about the dragons, they actually have agency. It's not just a simple Dany action -> Drogon reaction. |

Yep. Ramsey was about mental manipulation and getting into people's heads.
Not to mention that if it was pregnancy he was referring to, "you're a part of me now" would have more sense. It indicates he is tied to carrying on his heir.

I liked her character when we thought of her as evil and she was manipulating Stannis. Ever since he was killed it seems like they've been trying to find some role for her character. First she loses her faith, then resurrects Jon, then regains her faith.
Davos will obviously confront her about Shireen but I don't know if it will end up in her death. While Jon doesn't have the same faith in her as Stannis, they obviously have some kind of connection. He might not be okay with Davos killing her.

Davos is a man of honor. I wonder if he'll honor his promise to Stannis (not to attempt to kill her), or if he considers all options on the table now that Stannis is dead. |
