I'll go first...

I'm still in Calif, but Friday I have a tour of the Vatican booked, Saturday the Colosseum, then a 8 day cruise to Greece...

The kids are doing all the traveling this summer (Daughter - two weeks in China doing community service / Son - Two weeks Catalina) so nothing special for the wife and I other than a weekend of golf and spa treatments at Ojai Valley Inn and maybe the same down at Torrey Pines.

I'm going with the usual plan. Head to Vegas to work my ass off for two weeks, then to Tucson to visit my brother and do some high-performance driving, and a little later on I'll rent a house in Catalina and go do nothing for a while.

I went to Vatican City/Rome last year too. Climbing St. Peter's Basilica and the Roman Forum are also worth it if you have the time. Vatican Museum is also cool but I'm guessing the tour already includes it.

I went to San Diego this past weekend. Went to Seaworld, the Zoo, and Torrey Pines State Reserve. Going to Vegas and the Grand Canyon in a couple of weeks.

Bosnia and Croatia in August/September. It'll be just me and my dad. We've been planning this for a long time.

Nice. I suspect that will be a very meaningful trip for the both of you.

Yep, first time there, 2-1/2 days before the Greece Cruise and 3/4 of a day afterwards..

But I'd like to go back and do lots of other places in Italy...

why do you ask?

yeah, the Vatican tour includes it, I'm gonna try to hit the Roman Forum after the Colosseum, Pantheon and Piazza Navona Tour.

And our Hotel is right down the street from the Trevi Fountain...

Barcelona in September.

Oh, avoid visiting Pantheon/Trevi/Spanish Steps mid-day. Won't get any decent photos with the crowds. Get up early for Trevi, you'll have the place to yourself.

I don't have a ton of vacay time just yet.
But I plan on taking the fam somewhere outdoors-y.

Most likely Sequoia Nat'l Park.
Some really nice houses on AirBnB that sit on/next to a river.
Hopefully there is still some water in them by the time we go in Late July- early Aug.

Would love to do some hiking/fishing somewhere new. If anyone has been there before , lmk.

Pick pocketing is like the national pass time in Rome and their other big cities. Take 2 wallets. One to hold a little cash and one you can bury under layers of clothes that is really hard to get out.

Have fun at Ojai. Lovely course. Especially early in the morning. Never played at Torrey Pines but it's on my list.

Going to Lake Tahoe next week, then Hawaii in August. I recently started a new job so I was able to carve it out ahead of time. I don't normally take this much time off but YOLO.

Yeah, it's very cool. Played it 5 times now and love it. Torrey will be a new experience. I'm playing Sandpiper next week and am pumped - keep hearing great things about it.

Sandpiper looks beautiful. I went to Bacara a couple months ago and I was bummed I couldn't play. I had no one to play with and my wrist was killing me at the time.

My lady and I are doing Yellowstone for the first time.

The plan is to camp at the "first come, first served" campgrounds, but if it goes bad (I am not Charlie Camper) I am thinking we can sleep in the mini SUV I rented. the lady should love that, ha ha

Flying into Billings, Montana, then 5 nights in the park and then last night in Billings.

They have some cool things there I am looking forward to checking out.

July: Vegas for the usual several days of summer league, then NYC for several days, then hiking in Catalina (Two Harbors) with the kids a few days, then back home before going back to Catalina. Aug: taking my son to college.
