detroit, because they play "the right way" j/k. but seiously if SA gets their 3rd championship they could be perceived as a dynasty and i don't want that, so go pistons!!

I'll be checking the boxscore the next morning, rooting for ..... the spurs I guess. I don't want to have to hear the Snaq apologist saying well, look what Detroit did to SA.

DETROIT, Baby.

Hey, however Detroit got there against the Lakers, they did. Now that the shoe's on the other foot, I want to see Duncan and his handmaidens flustered and disgruntled and fizzled. Yes, they're a very good team, very solid, well coached. I'm not dissing the Spurs necessarily. I just would like to see them get FOOED. No Mercy.

I'm leaning toward the Spurs, since they're Western Conference, but it's not too important to me either way. Ultimately, the only thing I really wanna see are some highly competitive, hard-fought games. In any case, I voted for Jessica Alba.

The Spurs. I want Horry to win his 6th ring... and of course, throw in Jessica Alba in the mix.

By the way, anyone here watching Fantastic 4?

Yeah, if Detroit beats San Antonio, Shaq-apologists will probably spin it by bragging about the Heat being the "2nd Best Team in the League."

I hate both teams, but if only for Horry to get his 6th ring I'd go with SA. Also even if the Spurs win their 3rd championship it wouldn't be consecutive unlike Detroit who will have a back to back and a possible chance of a 3peat.

I'm just happy Miami is gone. That being said I hate the Sterns and the PisSterns equally. It will be interesting to see who the refs call the games in favor of. David Stern must be feeling like he is torn between to lovers right now.

What finals? With a Detroit/Spurs matchup, the season is over for me. It's more of a question of who will bother you more by winning the championship? I don't even want to think about that question, so I'll be content to think about Jessica Alba. When I get tired of thinking about her, I'll move on to Angelina Jolie. Then back to Jessica Alba. By then, maybe there will be a Laker press conference announced with Phil Jackson...

Don't know how to vote... my choice would be neither as I can't chose the lessor of two evils, although I am hoping it'll be a great series. And I just can't bring myself to chose Jessica Alba...

Mmmmm ... naked Jessica Alba landslide ... /drool.

Three reasons I'm rooting for SA in a sweep.
1. More fuel to the argument that the Detroit championship was a fluke.
2. SA demolishing Detroit gives SA fans more to complain about the 2004 series against us and DFish's 0.4 miracle.
3. I really, really, really hate Detroit - almost as much as I hate Shaq now. I don't need to hear about a second B2B title or the second coming of the Bad Boys. Three titles in 6 years for SA with no repeat - that, I can deal with. It took me a decade to get over 1989 & 1990. I don't need that again.
