Love how they somehow managed to throw a cliff hanger in there at the end of the season 3 opener.

What did you guys think of tonight's episode? I'm not a huge fan of this internal conflicts about who's in charge and what the firm is called etc. etc......I wish they would just go back to the script that season 1 followed where they just did 1 case per episode. although it was always predictable that harvey would win every case, season 1 was way more entertaining than season 2. season 3 premiere was totally watchable, but i could see myself losing interest fairly quickly

Did I miss something, when did this merger happen? I don't know remember seeing those episodes.

The merger started during the last part of season 2

Somehow I missed this thread before...

I like the show, it's one of the few that has made it into regular rotation in my DVR

Haven't seen the season premiere yet but hopefully will get to watch it tonight

I'm just glad they didn't give bigger roles to Mike's friends from the very beginning of the series, the dude who screwed up his life in the first place and the girlfriend. They weren't interesting. I like Rick Hoffman, he plays Louis Litt perfectly.

Not happy with all of the in-fighting they've added to the series. Yes, it makes for ok plots, but the screenplay is suffering. The primary characters now have terse vitriolic interchanges devoid of any of the wit and charisma the show started with.

Mike's friends were the worse part off the show.

I guess my dvr missed some episodes. I didn't see a merger from what I can remember. I'll have to check on demand. I thought it was weird that there were only 3-4 episodes in the fall/winter.

The british louis is a bit annoying, and I found that the acting in this episode overall was a bit lacking. Not very believable. Especially the deron williams scene.

But still very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season!

Oh and Meghan Markle.

The second half of last season was a little different where they wrapped up one storyline about Hardman and went straight to the merger with the Brits. I guess they felt they needed something to anchor last season and this season.

I think the writing is great. They found a way to keep drama on the show without the typical drama with his girlfriend, friends, or lack of Harvard education.

Is Mad Men anything like this show, and if so, is it anywhere near as good as Suits?

I wonder if Redford's son directing lead to the Butch & Sundance references?

Great episode.

That ending line: Do me a favor, and turn off the lights on your way out.

wut.

The Donna / Steven thing is kind of bla, but the rest was just great. Best episode of this season so far, by far.

Also, Mike Trudell, uh I mean Mike Ross, will totally hit the blond. I'm sure of it.

Speaking of look-alikes, I can't look at Donna (Sarah Rafferty) without seeing Nicole Kidman.

I don't blame him if he does. The actress that plays her is a former ballet dancer.

Can't believe I'm bumping a two year old thread.

Anybody watching this season? The series as a whole is hitting its climax.

Amazing television.
