Do you pull the trigger on the Odom for Artest trade if your Mitch? |

Odom.

Artest AND Odom 8) _________________ Chris Mihm - "...the reason he's been forced to take as many shots as he has is because our offense tends to stagnate and then we just have a tendency to throw him the ball. When we don't keep moving, then he's kind of forced to get something up." |

If I had to choose, I would take a chance with Artest, even if it meant giving up Odom. Artest IS a top 10-15 player and allstar NOW. Lamar POSSIBLY COULD be. I think PJ relishes the thought of coaching him, and I believe that he feels that if we can start winning with him, he won't want to leave. _________________ Chris Mihm - "...the reason he's been forced to take as many shots as he has is because our offense tends to stagnate and then we just have a tendency to throw him the ball. Odom is too valuable for the very volatile Artest. As much as I'm a fan of Ron Artest, I think he's too unstable to give up Odom. He may end up wanting to quit by January/February, and we end up with Kobe carrying all the load and injure himself in the process...
DG/Kwame or DG/Slava+Fillers for Artest/Pollard, throw in some picks. That's all. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Odom in the long run is going to be a lot better than Artest in the long run.
In two years Odom is going to be Mr. Triple Double, especially when he gets the nuisances triangle down.
Artest is too busy with his rap label, cutting up his hair, punching fans, breaking video equipment. This is the same guy that wanted time off to work on his music. I want players that can play. |

Pacers fan here.
You're not getting Granger. Not in a million years. You might be able to get one of our thousands of broken down centers. Croshere (who is a Santa Monica native, BTW) Pollard, Foster and Harrison are all replaceable. I love Harrison he could be dominant, but I don't know if he'll ever reach his potential.
I know this: each one of those guys would curse the ground that Larry Bird and Donnie Walsh walk on if they are forced to breathe the same air as Artest.
And I honestly can't believe anyone here actually would take Artest in the first place. He's like the one ring from lord of the rings. He is powerful, but will destroy any franchise he goes to. Mark my words.
I'll end with a quick question: Anybody want Jamaal Tinsley for Smush? He and Artest get along, and the Pacers want to ditch both of them, along with Jackson. |

Artest was offered for Odom twice before since the end of last season. The answer then will be the same this time around.
FYI, Pierce has been offered more than once for Odom as well. |

How about Artest and Croshere for George/Mihm/Med/Miami's #1 pick instead? _________________ A proud member of LakersGround.net for over 10 years [since April 28, 2001] |

I'd love to move headcase Odom for the right price, but not for a certifiable wacko like Artest. Artest makes Odom look normal. |
