Wonder who he's referring to? After all, there's not much that we can offer

can't be Jr smith or Kenyon .not till march. Arenas is the only name I can think of. But they would need to cut somebody. Want to trust hoopsworld report and Kennedy(he is very cautious in reports) but it makes little sense. _________________ Kobe "I mean Phil's been here, and -- to be honest with you -- we might have, in all the years I've been with Phil, (had) maybe three defensive drills the entire time" |

The only one I can think of that makes some sense (sorta) is koo-koo for coa-coa puffs J.R. Smith out of China when he is released in March. We need guard help desparately, especially someone that can create his own shots. Problem is, he creates his own head cases as well.

he can shoot himself out of games. Fine, cause we have nobody to shoot us into a game. Again its prob a free agent but who gets cut? Character since he isn't guaranteed? If it was the tpe I would speculate its for maybe Stephen Jackson. He hates being in Milwaukee . Pure speculation on my part _________________ Kobe "I mean Phil's been here, and -- to be honest with you -- we might have, in all the years I've been with Phil, (had) maybe three defensive drills the entire time" |

j.r. isn't available, neither is brooks.
i can't think of any unsigned spectacular talent out there, defenetly not anyone who would come for the vet min we're offering.
best i can come up with is maybe eddie house ?
jamal tinsley ?
don't get your hopes up for anything above that level of talent imo. |

Wasn't Rafer Alstons name being thrown around yesterday? But since this guy says help is on the way i'm thinking it's someone that can actually help. I'm thinking Arenas can help if he's in shape |

I'm hoping for Arenas, and they said "help on the way" so it seems like someone available now? i for some crazy reason believe Arenas has something in the tank and can help us? I mean we have Fisher!! |

The Lakers can't sign any of those guys. Teams under the cap and non luxury paying teams have 1st dibs. This is a Billups to the Clippers scenario all over again. Don't be mad at Mitch when we don't get any of these guys he simply can't under the new CBA. The only way would be a sign and trade I think. |

I have a feeling it's Gilbert Arenas. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

By the way. arenas isn't the answer. We need a real pg that distributes and drives in. Gilbert is a volume shooter. |

Any free agent available is not going to be an answer. Gilbert/Goudelock is definitely a good backup until Blake arrives. |

I think Andre Miller from Denver, he's not happy being the backup. What's his contract like?? Can we get him for some picks and maybe some $$? |

Gilbert is a combo guard. He can play PG or SG. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
