It's been a long time since I agreed with anything Magic's had to say, but this is one of them.

He shouldn't say anything at all.

That's because he was reminded of his failed attempt to coach this team.

be realistic. you know no matter how long this series goes.. if its a sweep or goes the full 7. if we lose this series.. mike brown still won't get fired. those of you wishing and say you're certain he will are delusional. look at the season. it was a shortened season with very little practice time running a new system. don't get me wrong. i think the lakers still have the talent to do it. and if it happens, no one would be happier than me... but i'd be surprised if we get anything more than 1 game out of this series.

This ain't the first time we've gotten blown out on our opponent's floor. There were times against SAC or POR back during the Shaq / Kobe days where we endured big losses but came back to win later in the series. Granted we knew which team would show up when needed in those days...

It was so funny after he made those comments about everyone being ousted if we lost to Denver. The truth is... "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!"
MAGIC was right, if and when Brown folds, he will get the blame and LA is too big of a city to not have a high profile coach, someone that commands respect and gets buy-in from his players.

Real problem is, who is that coach? He doesn't exist.

Come on, Magic. You remember the Memorial Day Massacre, don't you? You should be telling the team to learn from it and play better in game 2.

The final differential isn't the issue. The attitude they came with results in losses, period. Very little intensity on D, OK got comfortable looks all night, even with a man in the vicinity.

Malaise will prove to be an issue this group won't be able to fix. They haven't done it even after various parties were on the chopping block last year due to similar performances. Don't get your hopes up that showings like these will ever be eliminated.

Our only real hope of forcing the hand of those in the executive positions to make changes was to lose in the first round; the worst case scenario occurred, which was we scratched out a win in round 1 with a desperation type effort we seldom see - and now all expectations have been met because we are now an organisation of mediocrity.

Our couch represents our overall mediocrity. Don't let the third seed go to your head; we just aren't that good - we don't have the players.

What we have: Kobe, Bynum, Pau

Kobe is getting very long in the tooth.

Bynum will never mature.

Pau's confidence is lost forever.
