me too man, I have a streak that goes back to sometime in the early 90's. I'm religious when it comes to the Lakers and the Raiders, I never miss a game, if there's something in the way, I still find a way to watch it. Just let me see my Raiders and my Lakers play, you can take everything else away.
I try to watch Kings and Flyers games aswell as much as I can, but I gotta have time for a social life, and since hockey has sucked this year with the cutdown on fighting if I miss games it's no big deal. |

I used to watch most Laker games and miss maybe 7-8 games a season. However, since I'm away from LA for school I can only catch games on National television. When I do come home, I can only watch road games because for some reason I don't have FSW at home. |

Try to catch virtually every one in some way.
Watch all home games on FSW (or tape it if I'm not home).
Can't get KCAL (and too cheap for LeaguePass) so watch if nationally televised and listen to streaming audio and switch back and forth between ESPN gamecasts and LG for the stats and the subjective views of those that can watch. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

I got the league pass last year around january when the price dropped...then i got it this year as soon as I could get it. if I don't watch a tape...I tape it and watch it later. I also try to avoid espn/nba tv if I tape a game...because I don't wanna know the outcome beforehand. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

TiVO and League Pass allow me to watch every game, and not alienate my family, or neglect my fatherly duties. They also make for a happier wife. Here's an example:
Last night, our son Kobe had a pre-school Christmas program. My wife and I took our other 2 kids and had a great time. Kobe was awesome. The kid sang louder than any other kid there. We went out to eat after the program, and I didn't worry once about getting home in time to watch the game, because I knew my TiVO was taking care of it for me. It was a great night. We got home, and we put the kids to bed. Then I fired up the TiVO and started watching the game while my wife went upstairs and started getting ready for bed. I fast-forwarded through the free-throws, the commercials, and through half-time. With 3 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter, I went upstairs to see what my wife was up to. She was in the shower. She asked me how the game was, and I told her the Lakers were up by like 25. She said she was sorry that the game was boring, and I said it wasn't because Kobe was on fire and already had 50 points. I told her I was bummed because I knew he wouldn't play in the 4th quarter, but there was still a chance for him to beat his career high. Little did I know, he still had 12 points in him in those final 3 1/2 minutes. Now, Here's the beauty of TiVO, League Pass, and the resulting happy wife. There she was in the shower, talking about the game with me, and she said, "Go finish your game, and wake me up when you come to bed." It was an awesome night. 2 great performances by Kobe, and one great performance by my wife. I owe it all to TiVO and the League Pass. |

I watch most games, probably 3-4 out of 5. This being because I live on the East Coast and the games usually start at 10:30 for me. Sometimes I'm tired, and want to get some sleep, or if the game happens on a Friday, and I want to go out. so I'll only watch a portion of the game.
But I generally catch at least half of every game.
BTW, I think it really blows that DirecTV doesn't have TNT HD. _________________ "It’s like going to the Getty and standing in front of Van Gogh’s Irises while some schmuck next to you critiques individual brush strokes. Just shut up already. The more you talk, the more you embarrass yourself." |

Every single one. I actually had to sit my wife down, when we were engaged, and explain how Laker games were a "family priority." _________________ You tryin' to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? |

Being in Sydney we get crap NBA service through ESPN
They have only put on one Laker game which was against Philly.
I buy all the Wnning games through Pontel so i see the games about a week later but i listen to the games on the net with spero and mychal.
My parents are heading to LA in 4 days lucky things , all my family basically live in newport or glendale so when i come over there all im gonna do is go to Laker games. |
