Due to the OKC's small fan base, their online fan base is even smaller. So there are not much quotes(I look in 3 sites!)
But enjoy anyway.
Glad we got the WIN! Go lakers! Let win the next game!

I was honestly shocked the refs finally called that hip check that Perkins calls a "screen" in the fourth. I wish I could think that this means they'll look for it more consistently from now on, but I know they won't. |

Especially after all the games they've had that have looked like this:

Apart from maybe Miami, no one gets the kind of calls that the Thunder do |

I subscribe to an Oklahoma sooners website, being that I'm a sooner fan. There are a ton of classic comments over there. Soonerscoop.com. Basically, Kobe got all of the calls, the game was fixed, etc. Pretty funny stuff. |

here's a few more, mostly about the officiating:
Quote: | Hard to win a game when you can't even breathe on a Laker without getting called for a foul. It seems like OKC loses every game that Joey Crawford officiates. 42 FTs given to the Lakers, who don't really drive to the hoop that often. Enough said. |
Quote: | "How embarrassing are these fouls called against Harden? Seriously...first and fourth fouls called on Harden are so phantom. Please. Stop." |
Quote: | And Fisher was on Kobe in the 4th because Harden and Sefolosha each had 3 fouls at the time. I'm not sure we'll see that again, although Game 4 is in L.A., so who knows...the NBA has to make sure they get the most out of their product as possible. |
Quote: | thunder will have to severely outplay the lakers to win. every time they go on a 7-0 run, a touch foul is called at the other end. it's been like that like clockwork the last two games. that said, they also need to make things easier for themselves by not settling for bad shots in key moments. and not having fisher guard bryant in key moments. |
Quote: | Anyone who says this was anything other than a gift to L.A. from the refs either didn't see the game or is a total Laker homer. No justification for 42 Laker FTAs to 28 for the Thunder and 49 points for L.A. on 11 made field goals in the 2nd half. None. And every foul called on Harden was extremely questionable.
That said, it doesn't bother me too much that the Lakers needed Joey Crawford, one of the worst refs in any sport, maybe of all time, to help them win at home, and they just barely won. We'll see how tomorrow night plays out when the Lakers have been mediocre on the 2nd night of back-to-backs. |
Quote: | the NBA wants an "interesting" and "extended" series. thats all.
THE FOUL ON JAMES HARDEN: when he was back-peddling as Kobe Bryant brushed up against him (drawing the absurd foul) was a sad indicator of the fact that the game was indeed fixed for the Lakers. |
Quote: | The refs were horrible. Kobe was gifted at least 10 FT. |

Yup. The Thunder's fans are boring. I think it's due to the fact that they have a small fan base.
Comparing to the Lakers' fan base, HUGE difference. _________________ You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take. |

In case you weren't aware, okc thunder fans all suffer from an illness that impairs their eye sight. How do I know? An experiment was recently conducted in the name of science. One hundred unsuspecting people were asked to rate the attractiveness of five individuals. In the comfort of their own private testing booths, the slides of attractive, young men and women were shown. The first four slides shown yielded a similar pattern among all test subjects. However, unbeknownst to any of the test subjects, the last slide happened to feature a recent photograph of the oklahoma city thunder's james "douchebag" harden, detailing his current hair style and facial hair. There are currently no words to describe the level of disgusting when seeing this man's face, but the good people at Webster's dictionary are working hard with the authorities of the English language to come up with a new word. Sadly, his photograph will not be shown next to the new word in the dictionary, for safety reasons. Seven out of the one hundred test subjects rated harden's attractiveness an eleven out of a possible ten. The other 93 subjects failed to rate the last checkbox, but all submission forms were strangely covered in vomit. The seven individuals agreed to answer supplemental questioning afterward and they all admitted to being fans of the oklahoma city thunder. _________________ https://psntrophyleaders.com/user/view/tenike1

They note Bynum's travelling but conveniently omit the pushing fouls that are causing them.
Note nothing being said about the elephant in the room: James Hardin getting the most ludicrous referee treatment of all time. |

Wow, what revisionist history. It was more like Kobe was jogging down court and Harden decided to impede his progress 30ft from the hoop by throwing a shoulder into Kobe's chest. They will see it how they want i guess.
Funny hearing them complain about the officiating when their team is a bunch of hacks. Seems as though they forgot all about the free throw disparity from game 1.... |

Agreed about JVG, though the only thing i agreed with him on was Bynum having to take the dribble constantly. He needs to work on that. Needs to only use the dribble to get closer to the hoop. Sometimes he will put it on the floor when hes way too close. Turnover waiting to happen. But i agree, for a guy who used to be a NBA head coach, pretty telling to hear him praising Perkins screens. Same with the constant hacking done to Bynum. If i were Bynum, id be flattered, but angry at the same time. They are treating him like Prime Shaq as far as calls go. |

lol, ill agree there was one of the harden fouls that was questionable even though he still made contact with kobe's wrist but if you want to go there what about the 20 miss calls when hes getting grabbed and hacked with no call? not to mention how the thunder get atleast a 1/3 of there points it seems every game so far on perkins illegal screens...
i thought the game was decently officiated, each side can complain but i didnt think it one sided at all especially when they have leon powe aka bin harden on there team... |

Ill give OKC the phantom foul on Harden bumping kobe up the floor. That was a stupid foul.. but on the play right before that the refs missed a back court violation on Durant.. I looked at it as a make up call.
Overall bad calls both ways. But harden was the untouchable man of the night by far.
Answer me this, how can a jump shooting team avg the 2nd most FT attempts in the NBA? I mean, seriously... 90% of their shots are from outside the paint. 80% of our shots our INSIDE the paint and we dont avg anywhere near the attempts as them.. I think they get called easier for sure |
