Does Morris even know how to run a simple P&R?

Bothers me that Morris is ignoring Sacre like the plague with his passing.

He is feeding Eyenga well though.

If Eyenga can keep this us, he'd be helpful off the bench. Also makes it easier to trade Ebanks if we have to.

Doesn't look like it. He's got a good teacher this year if he doesn't get himself dumped first.

What are you talking about? Sacre has many passes from Morris. I counted at least 3 of them that Sacre received from Morris perfectly. Sacre just missed all those shot from 3 to 4 feet.

OK to be fair I can't comment on the game early on - at the time I'd made that comment Sacre had set several decent screens for Morris on successive possessions, broke free off the screen and was wide open each time close to the rim, arms in the air, and Morris sent the ball out to the perimeter each time.

I'm not talking feeding Sacre at the top of the key early in the shot clock, I'm talking off-screen when Sacre's begging for it. If Morris was feeding him there earlier than glad to hear it, I wasn't seeing it much second half though.

Eyenga with a great game so far.

Just got home before halftime - saw some highlights though.

I take back my comments about Eyenga - He's worth a look in training camp!

Hopefully it continues to the regular season. Making smart cuts to the basket, hitting open jumpers, and dunking over everyone.

What does that say about our SPL team if Ammo looks way better than any of them?

Julian Khazzouh is a pretty good shooter with a quick release. Maybe we should give him a camp invite.

Finally a summer league win. Bledsoe should have scored more. because Clippers relied too much on Morrison to score for them.

Nelson- Good hustle game. Attacked the glass and played good defense. Blocked a shot by Morrison. Could make a NBA roster once he gets a reliable 3 point shot.

Sacre - Bad game. Just couldn't finished around the rim.

Khazzouh - Played liked Andrea Bargnani and was a pick and pop target for Morris. Could be a decent stretch big, but is a terrible rebounder.

Morris - Terrible scoring game. The Clippers focused their attention preventing the dribble drive from him, but opened his passing game. Doesn't always see the floor as well as you would hope at times, but had a steady improvement after each game. Almost had a triple double.

His passing scares the crap out of me, but he did show a nice outside shot.

I watched like 2 minutes of the game and he hit 2 threes so I can't say anything about his passing
was it really that bad?

Before tonight I'd have said camp invites to Sacre, DJO, and Morris.

Tonight Eyenga was on fire!! He changed my mind completely.

Khazzouh - nice shooting.

Nelson - nice banging for boards.

Morris - 8 rebounds 9 assists - wish I'd seen more of the first half!

I missed half the game, but the half I saw I enjoyed.

Anyone else catch that Mike Brown/Reggie Miller exchange?

Eyenga needs to be the shooting guard off the Lakers bench. Seriously, it's a luxury to play and develop behind a guy like Kobe Bryant. He won't have to contribute more than 10 minutes a game, and with the amount of stars the Lakers have he shouldn't have to force his offensive production.

He's going to be on the court with Jamison, Blake and Pau...so he shouldn't have to be an offensive threat. He needs to play defense, rebound and score easy baskets when he can.

I was rooting for him to succeed prior to summer league and I'm still rooting for him. He's a shooting guard/small forward. It's a position the Lakers need youth and athleticism coming off the bench.
