So the signing of Meeks means we let Glock go right?

They have essentially the same skill set, but Meeks has more in game experience and came from a better college basketball program.

He can hit the 3...and is a below average defender, and is an undersized shooting guard. (who does that sound like that was drafted last year)

Oh well.... we'll see. Glock didn't get playing time because he was a defensive matchup problem. Maybe Meeks will all of a sudden play defense.

I like looking at the official rosters to see all those names as Lakers. LOL. But when will Meeks be official? He's not on the roster at espn or lakers.com.

^I tried to take a peek at a new roster listing and noticed this too. I think some web page administrators just took a day or two off once the Dwightmare was over.

If Meeks shows he's the real deal, how necessary will either Goudelock or DJO be?

Also, once again... Thanks Cha*n!

I like this signing. A starter for the past couple seasons, Meeks could play well next to Kobe or Nash, and he fills a size/athleticism gap in the Laker back court nicely. Gives us depth and versatility. Well done
