Sushi Dan in Studio City. They have 3 big screens. They've already been playing TWC when older games are being broadcast. I think they're big Lakers fans.

I called and they said they have Dish Network.

The Zendejas in San Dimas has it...I was there for the 1st Lakers preseason game because at the time it was the only one I found...since then I have found 20 places with TWC

I called them and they have Directv and do not have Time Warner Cable. The guy that answered the phone stated that TWC is not available in their area of Costa Mesa so no surrounding bar or restaurant, or home for that matter, will have Time Warner Cable.

Mario’s A Taste of Italy doesn't have SportsNet channel according to their owner not 5 minutes ago. She is looking into getting it though but nothing for sure at this point.
Baja Sharkeez in Huntington won't be getting it either as they have a deal with DirecTV.
So much for the OC.

I did the same and they said they have Time Warner. I guess I'll have to check it out. I used to go there to watch games all the time and I'm pretty sure they had Time Warner. And yes, Time Warner is available in this area of Costa Mesa. I live here.

Just checked and... you're right about a part of Costa Mesa being a Time Warner service area.

Their address on Baker checks out, though they have to order TWBC (Business Class) service since it's a commercial center.

I talked to that guy when i was confirming the list and the guy that answered the phone told me that they have Time Warner Cable but only up to channel 76. That would mean that they DO have it but only on standard defination. I am going to call and see if I can make them actually go to their TV and check.

The problem with calling around is that many of these people that own or work at this places dont even know what they have.

Unlike a lot of people that I have talked to at these restaurants/bars taht Ive been calling the guy on the phone sounded like he knew what he was talking about as far as what they have.

As far as TWC not servicing Costa Mesa the guy that answers the phone at Round Table Pizza might not be a good source.

That's why I don't go to sports bars anymore. 6 years ago I got a DUI after a Laker game. I've got 4 more years before I can get another without Don't pass go. Go directly to jail.

The list is up to 22 bars or restaurants that have Time Warner Cable and showing Lakers games. I have a few more leads that I need to confirm but they are pretty much in the same areas as the ones on the list.

Let me know if you guys find any others. Unfortunetely there is still no deal in place with TWC and the other pay tv carriers so this list is still needed.
