Pau and Amare are basically the same player both good on the offensive end,but both suck on defense.Amare at least plays physical every once and a while,Pau doesn't ever play physical.I would still take Gasol though because at least he stays healthy.

I would think about it though if it was Amare/Shumpert/2 1rd for Gasol.

i would think VERY SERIOUSLY if that was the offer.

GIVE IT UP, amare is not the same as he was with the suns
he's hurt every other week, and would clog up the lane every more.

NO THANK

Hey Amare is valuable at least when he gets frustrated we get to see something break. He is an agressive person. When Pau gets frustrated he has to change his tampon......

Lakers are trying to save money. We can't keep buying fire extinguishers.

Just look at how horrific Amare's contract is. Not going to happen.

oh yea, NY better throw in some sweeteners. Lakers are coming in like the godfather saviour and offering them a chance to undo their financial mistake. And Jerry is happy to help out young Dolan.

The fact that there is one human on the planet that would want amare with an unguaranteed contract is hysterical and sad all wrapped up in one.

As of today and moving forward, anyone who thinks amare > Pau is delusional. Pau's future is brighter than amare's.

The fact that there is one human on the planet, that feels they have a right to judge other human beings is hysterical and sad.

lol we don't need offense we would have enough with Kobe/Dwight/Nash/Amare,we need a guy who can play defense and we could use Shumpert on the top pg's in the West,he can guard guys like Westbrook/CP3/Parker in the playoffs.

Pau is satisfied with his 2 rings

Pure assumptions. Then why did he sign with the Knicks in the first place? Money and exposure.

So hungry to win that he jeopardized his team chances of coming back against the Heat by sidelining himself for 2 games, after punching a fir extinguisher and being a 1mm away from ending his NBA career?

Well actually if Jamison keeps producing we dont really need offense because he can create his on shot. We would also have Dwight Howard out there too who can create his own shot. All we would need Shumpert to do is defend his man and knock down the open three. Basically what he did in New York.

Gasol is 2X champ. Amare walked on the court when nash got hip checked by horry.

Didn't Isaiah Thomas trade away NYK's next 20 year 1st round pick during his tenure?
