He's no longer the impact player he once was, but I wouldn't say he's flat out done. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

We traded high with Bynum. Exact opposite with Pau. His heart isn't with the Lakers anymore... |

He's been 18.8ppg, 10.2rpg, 3.3apg, 1.6bpg & 17.4ppg, 10.4rpg, 3.7apg, 1.4bpg the last two years. I'd say that's pretty (bleep) good. And that was while being the third option last year. |

So true, he only steps it up when he's getting punked.
What i find funny is how Mike Brown is supposed to have some kind of twin tower experience. Yet Lakers are playing the Princeton with Pau/Dwight floating around the elbows and 3pt line half the time. |

Posting numbers is irrelevant when discussing Pau. He literally has no impact on the game anymore. I'm actually surprised he averaged that. _________________ Go LA! |

A part of me understands that it takes time to really make something like this work. Another part of me feels like this is a was a panic response to having this kind of roster. Brown has only had to manage one superstar ego, not 4. I think by giving the offense a blanket name like "Princeton offense" will it erase alot of hard issues to deal with for Brown. It shows no favoritism and keeps everyone happy apparently. I have patience for this because you cant expect perfection early on, this is not NBA 2k. It will take a while but this team has to taste defeat before it can taste victory.

The better question is if Pau is done, what do we do with him; trade him or keep him. If we do trade him for who? |

everyone else is involved with the horrible lazy passing.
these dudes are lacking confidence because the entire team doesnt know their own offense. thats because these guys have never all played under the same offense before. its not the princeton. if they said any other offense. most of the guys wouldnt know that either. to many new guys. we have to got thru this process. _________________ LAL4K3RS wrote: He(Kobe) is the white haired kung fu master that you realize is older than dirt but can still kick your arse when in a sitting position drinking a nice herbal tea. |

can we end the myth that he's a "high IQ" player too.
sadly i think some people just assume this because he's white.

in isolation... a frighteningly bad game from Pau.
but back-to-back preseason game? and apparently hes the one guy not sitting out any practices and other games? And Hill not healthy to back him up until now?
eh, lets see what happens come the reg season.

He was great in the Olympics, I don't think it is fair to say he is done but it would be fair to wonder what in the world is going on because it is ugly right now.
