Since I use Pay Pal I was able to open a PP dispute and request a refund. Here is the text I used.

I purchased NBA league pass choice so that I could choose 5 of my favorite teams to watch. I only have one favorite team. The Lakers. I was not told the Lakers are not a valid choice of teams to watch. But appearently no Laker games will be available to watch. I was mis led into purchasing a worthless service. I demand my money back.

Boo Yah! ( I didn't put the Boo Yah!) part on it.

Good luck with that. You obviously didn't read the terms and conditions and blackout restrictions and how they are applied before signing up.

I purchased it last season and wasn't impressed. I enjoy watching other teams play each other, but NBA LP just helped me realize the only "other teams" i like to see match-up are usually on national T.V. anyway.

It was a neat luxury to have, but it just wasn't worth the money for me personally.

*edit*

I understand the OP's frustration. I know some of you like to burn him for not reading the fine print in light-grey letters on the bottom of the page, but when they have in big bold letters "Watch All The Excitement On NBA League Pass", you might actually feel like you can watch all the excitement on NBA League Pass. It is a bit misleading.

It's amazing that people still don't understand the blackout rules. It's not like its something new.

Download hot shield or any other program that blocks your ip, it tricks broadband into thinking youre out of the country therefore not blacking out local games

Here's a guide.

Alternatively try "how to use proxy" in google. Should give you lots of other guides!

I bought LP with DTV. When I was told the Laker games would be blacked out in Los Angeles I canceled. I did it within minutes of buying. I was successful in canceling, If you bought through PayPal, I think you're stuck.

LP is free for awhile. I just AutoTuned the LOs Angeles, Detroit game. Info said "Game may be subject to blackouts in parts of Detroit and Los Angeles."

Hotspot Shield(free) or http://www.hidemyass.com/vpn/

Use the program to change your IP to a location out of state and then switch on the game and then turn off the program. It's pretty simple to use.

Mine was an auto renew. Last year I was able to recieve Laker games with the service. I expected similar service now that it appears I will not, I fully expect a refund. The season has only just begun at worse case they should give me a prorated almost 100% refund.

Also important to note I live in Vegas. In past years I was able to watch road games on both LP and LPBB. But appearently not this year.

I just downloaded it. How do I change my IP to another state? It says my IP is switched to San Jose, CA even though I live in Irvine, CA

Because league pass uses the local feed, does that mean out of LA folks or proxy users with league pass can only see the road games?
