Wow, definitely good. Should have never hired this guy in the beginning.

Props to Jim Buss for not letting his ego get in the way now 2 times!

I've been on Jim for lots of questionable decisions but kudos for owning up to this mistake of a hire. Wish we had Adelman as Mitch wanted.

JVG? Nate McMillan?

Although I am relieved. I do believe we will get another Brown or Jordan as the interim. And it will be just as bad.

AWESOME..

good job to the people here that took the criticism and kept it real. Not like we had anything todo with it. But still.

Sorry to the ones that criticized other posters on here for admitting what was in front of ALL our eyes. Especially sorry for the ones that also still can't get AB out of their mouths - really rough few months for you.

...how you like your crow?

Hope we get to hear what happened to cause it this quickly right after Jim's "1 and 15" statement. I think we're just going to hear it was a decision by Jim.

Could be a Westhead like situation where he talked to 1+ of the star players. How do you go from 1-15 to this in a day or two?

Now that this situation has mercifully come to an end, I hope he's not replaced by another coach who is overly-reliant on a gimmick offense/defense and that is Dan Tony.

NO OTHER MIKES!

Lakers ownership has made it clear that buying out Brown's remaining $11M-plus and investing in new coach now won't be issue, sources say.

man that was faster than I expected but I can live with it.

Now on to Sloan or Phil, but I am leaning towards Sloan because I fear losing Nash's potential and ability in the Triangle still.

Can't believe it actually happened. Interesting to see who our replacement is gonna be. Definitely hope it's not D'antoni.

The only explanation that a guy would be fired a day after being backed by Jim Buss is that Phil agreed. No other name would cause them to pull the trigger that fast.
