You guys forgot who is the casualty in all of this, Andrew Goudelock. Somewhere, Andrew is thinking "Why couldn't they have fired him earlier?"

We can still waive Morris and call up Glock.

We should also drop DJO and call up Maria Sharapova to ask if Sasha can play. SIKE!

Nice guy. I would stay away from fast food if I were him. Especially a place where they put potatoes in waffle-makers.

How in the heck are you smiling like that after getting fired if you really care about your job?

I mean this is THE pinnacle job in all of professional sports since 1980 and after you get canned you pose for photos at a Fastfood spot smiling?

Am I the only person who finds this strange?

What a fat thief of a toad!

The empty spot on the wall at the Lakers practice facility where Mike Brown's portrait was just taken down https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A7ShOVKCEAEDDpO.jpg

Should put the Chik-Fila pic in there for now.

You guys know what's sad? This franchise hasn't had a real successful coach (aside from Phil) in a longggggggg time.

Going backwards in time:

Mike Brown - FAIL
Phil - SUCCESS
Frank Hamblem - FAIL
Rudy T - FAIL
Phil - SUCCESS
Kurt Rambis - FAIL
Del Harris - FAIL
Magic Johnson - FAIL

And those failures weren't just simply "we were so close, but lost at the end." Those failures were pretty bad. And this is only 2 decades of coaching history.

Phil absolutely deserves a statue. And a street named after him or something. Zen Master Ave. Right in front of El Segundo HQ.

I can't believe Mike Brown got canned so quick considering this was Jim Buss's guy. Should have hired Shaw or Adelman in the first place, but we all know that Jim does not like anything associated with The Zen Master. Now the wait for a new coach will be interesting for sure.

Gotta respect family members. Even future in-laws.

the Buss family care about results - winning. i give them respect to correct any errors they made along the way and it appears that Jim Buss is becoming more like his successful father - owning up to his mistake for the sake of the whole!
