Tonight's game will be interesting. I expect to see more energy from the team. If we lose with maximum effort I'll be disappointed but will feel better about our future.
As Magic, SAS and many pundits have said, no matter who the next coach is it's not going to change drastically overnight, it's going to take time.
Even if Phil comes the team's not going to go on a immediate win streak. Most observers agree.
Mike was a bad fit. His record in Cleveland was fools gold. LeBron made him. Kobe, Pau and Dwight couldn't. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

How did Lebron "make him? I don't recall either winning anything. _________________ Kobe, on the other hand; RELISHES the injuries and just looks at it as evening the playing field. |

He went to the finals and took a rag tag bunch to the best record in the league two years running. That record gave Brown a reputation for being a winner. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

End of the 'process'
Beginning of Phil's last stand. He's always said the one guy he'd like to coach is D.Howard. Howard requested him.
Done deal. Phil gets 12 Kobe gets 6, Nash and Howard taste the champagne and Howard gladly resigns for the next Laker era. |

He also had some ridiculously good fortune in the way of a horrible conference, some timely blowups from the Pistons and injuries to other team's key players. _________________ Lakers win record when Kobe goes for 40+ points
God bless Kobe Bean Bryant and Gianna Maria Onore Bryant. |

To Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, the key factor in the decision had to be state of mind of Lakers guard Kobe Bryant.
“I don’t know what to say -- if Kobe isn’t happy, then that’s tough,” Aldridge said. “I have been getting word that he wasn’t happy with how things were going, and if he’s not happy, then your chances there are pretty slim -- as we saw with Shaq. … Everybody talks around the league, and there was talk that he wasn’t happy. “ |

Rich con man. Whatever spiel got him this job, there was no chance of him backing it up with respectable coaching. |
