Which team would win in a game?

Atkins
Kobe
Butler
Odom
Mihm

vs

Nash
Kobe
Metta
Pau
Dwight

I'm going with 2005. Prime Kobe would murder old Kobe. He might go for 81. Lamar would run circles around Pau, and then Pau will just throw his arms up like he doesn't know what to do. Atkins will have a career high with Nash guarding him. Mihm will force Dwight to foul out and then cry about only getting 5 shots. Butler will kill Metta like he does so often nowadays.

Who's your pick??

I think that, right now, you could put almost any team in that first position and I would pick them over the 2013 Lakers.

College, high school, elementary, blind teams... all looking like favorites to me right now.

That team even though we lacked talent (to some extent) was more hard working and had some pride

Are you kidding me ?

Anyone who watched 2005 kobe would choose 2005 lakers easily

05kobe would tear apart and own this lakers singlehandedly

answer is the first option and it's not even close.

2005 Kobe would tear apart 2013 Kobe on both ends of the floor while posterizing Dwight and Pau on every other possession.

Let's put it this way: I'm not even sure if this team on HoF mode in 2K13 is fair.

That 2005 team didn't lose because they didn't try, they just didn't have talent. This team has talent, but no chemistry or heart, and they don't care one bit about winning or losing anymore. Pau and Howard have checked out, Jamison hates the coach, Nash doesn't want to rock the boat, Kobe wants to break scoring records, Ron is happy because he can chuck shots again, and the bench is in over their heads (Morris, Meeks, Clark, etc).
